The Mariden Station Chronicles

@themaridenstationchronicles / themaridenstationchronicles.tumblr.com

Welcome to Mariden, a forested Outer Rim world occupied by the 6 clones of the Mariden Station. They think they know what the galaxy has in store for them until a little girl crashes on Mariden all alone after a Separatist attack on a nearby planet. Until the clones can locate her family, she's their responsibility, and they have to learn how to take care of a kid while navigating the dangerous and unknown Mariden landscape. Currently in progress; hopefully released by October 2025.

“May I please draw your OC?”

Reblog this message if you encourage anyone that wants to draw your OC to do so.  No need to ask for permission in advance.

Go for it.  Draw my OC.  If you want, I’ll even give you reference posts.  Go to town on it.

You are welcome to draw my OC and surprise me with the result.  Seriously.  In fact, I encourage it.  I will proudly display whatever it is you submit to me regarding my OC.  There is a chance that I will squeal about it for several days.

Even if you feel you aren’t good at whatever artistic adventure it is you do, please feel free to submit it to me.  I want to see what you have done.

Anyone else ever start a story and then publish a few chapters but then realize that its not really going in the direction that you wanted it to go in so you try to decide between taking it down entirely to fix it or edit what you have for the thousandth time?

i'm kinda facing that right now with TMSC. I'm leaning more towards taking it down temporarily, rewriting it, and then trying to write more before I start publishing it.

quite unfortunately and against my will I'm a few days behind in inktober. when you're traveling and busy all day there's really not that much time to draw. 😭😭😭

again unfortunately I fell too far behind to catch up and I can't jump into the middle of a project like that so I'll have to call it quits. Thank you to everyone for liking and reblogging my inktober pieces! It means the world to me!

Day 6: Golden - What if the Mariden boys never went to Mariden? What if they had joined Commander Cody's battalion, the 212th? I figured they would've gone with the same patterns on their armor, but of course they would've had to use the gold-yellow paint assigned to the 212th.

Dude I've never drawn this many people in one picture. I'm not happy with everything here, but I'm happy with most of it. This is definitely one that I want to redo digitally at some point.

Inktober Day 5: Map - Claptrap made a map of all the animal dens and nests in the area. He loves exploring like that. And of course he's gotta show it Rocker. Those two are inseparable.

Yes I know it's a day late, but in my defense, we were in a conference all afternoon yesterday and then the 6 hour drive home took the REST of the day. If I have time, I'll do Day 6 today. If not, expect Days 6 and 7 tomorrow.

Inktober Day 4: Dodge - When Scrap's inventions fail, they tend to chuck themselves in all directions. Thankfully, Visor's always alert and ready to dodge an incoming piece of machinery. You just have to be careful when you're walking past Scrap's workshop. You never know if something's going to explode.

Inktober Day 3: Path - You never know what kind of animal paths you might find when you explore Mariden. Should Claptrap be exploring the woods by himself? No, probably not, but Claptrap's not exactly one to adhere to the rules much.

I haven't worked with markers all that much as far as shading goes so this has definitely been a fun learning experience for me. Once Inktober is over, I might go through and color either all of them or at least my top 5 favorites. Happy spooky season everyone!
