just wanted to give an update as to where i have been and things of that nature. firstly i want to apologize for my absence. i have missed you all so so much and not writing was killing me but i had such a tough battle with my mental health. i am glad to say i won. i am slowly getting back into it, even wrote for the first time in months without second guessing myself or completely hating it so its a win for me. i would like to get something out maybe this week even if its bad i'll be happy to get something out. thank you all so much for the love, i truly did miss you guys. i'm back and i'll be writing for the boys we missed dearly

hey guys! i don’t know where to begin but i’ll say this: im going to take a little break from writing. currently my mental health isn’t at its best (i’d say it’s at 95%, but i love when it’s at 100%) and i’ve been pushing myself to work a lot more than i should. sadly, im quite burnt out because of work so my brain is struggling to focus on anything else besides wanting to sleep. i just sadly did 3 back to back days of inventory, was awake before the sun came out and was greeted with the early afternoon sun by the time i got back into town. if anyone that works in retail or has some knowledge of it, inventory is fucking shit. especially when you need a massive crew to scan a whole store before opening

that being said, i’m sadly burnt out because of it. being around so many people constantly has really spiked my social anxiety, and crowds get me anxious so when we’re often all sent to break at once i’m sitting in a break room with so many unknown faces. i’m most likely going to take a week or two off then come back to posting regularly. for anyone who’s curious about joos and kyun’s christmas stories, i promise they’ll be posted but i think i’ll be saving them for this upcoming christmas. i tried so hard to get them all out but i was working 8/9 hours almost daily with a day off. i deeply apologize to anyone who was excited for them. they’ll be the first two i post come christmas

other than that i really hope the new year is treating everyone well. you all deserve that much and more. i’ll see you all soon

goodbye 2023 and hello 2024!

first of all i just want to say 2023 was a wild year. there were so many ups and downs personally, but i managed to pull through. i can never thank you all enough for the support i was given throughout 2023. we hit some amazing goals. hitting 1k, having such a major comeback, etc. it was all because of you guys. your support has meant nothing but the world to me. i just know going into 2024 will be a much better year.

i would love to give you guys some sight into what i have planned for this year. i have so much planned, whether that's a new series or new story ideas. just way too much. i would love to finish public adventures. that is a series i haven't touched in so long but i would truly love to wrap up since starting it about two years ago. i'll be back to writing longer stories (stories with 5k or more), as well as series updates every other friday. this was an idea someone had sent to me and i truly love it. for the first week of the month starting in february i'll ask you guys to send me random prompts and i'll turn them into drabbles! i hope that is something you are all interested in. just to add there will be a point in time where i do take a month off to just relax and reset.

once again i do thank you all for the support and love through 2023. meeting you all, reading your tags, comments, etc has made my day however bad it might have been. you all truly deserve nothing but the best in life. can't wait to enjoy 2024 with you all!

“How are you feeling?”

Her voice broke the almost next-to-comfortable silence that filled the car. The radio played soft tunes on a low volume to allow him to focus on driving amidst the heavy highway traffic flow.

Her eyes flicked from the window to her lover, who had his focus on the road ahead. His face was next to expressionless, almost as if he was zoning out. But she had known better. He was still trying to wake up, and the half-empty cup of Iced Americano was one of the things that helped him.

“Hm?” A questioning hum came from him as he quickly glanced at her. She watched as a smile crept on his face. Soon, it was full-blown, his cheeks chubby but just as adorable as always.

“I asked if you were okay, Woonie.” She laughed as her hand fell on his. “You’re unusually quiet.”

His laugh felt genuine as he shook his head. His focus was back on the important thing, the road. His warm hand wrapped around her, making her smile widen as she watched his reactions almost carefully.

“Nervous?” She questioned, head tilted to gauge a reaction. His silence remained unchanging. If he was nervous, she wouldn’t blame him. After all, the step they were taking was a big one.

Chae Hyungwon was finally meeting her parents.

When they got into a relationship three years ago, she wanted to ensure their relationship was strong before mentioning meeting her parents. He was a celebrity, after all. So, his constant busy schedule and the secrecy could’ve been a big downfall. She didn’t want to risk telling her parents if it went downhill.

“Can you believe this mystery gifter? Leaving flowers without a hint of a name!” she exclaimed, her voice saturated with both confusion and a curious mixture of emotions that Kihyun couldn’t quite decipher yet.

She twirled the delicately tied flower bouquet in her hands, her gaze lost in the colorful array of blossoms. The perplexity in her eyes reflected her bewilderment at the anonymous sender.

Her curious query was met with an unexpected response - Kihyun, grinning wide, a glint of mischief dancing in his eyes. The sudden change in his demeanor was so stark that she was taken aback. She was just about to chide him for what she saw as mockery when a hearty laugh slipped out from him. It echoed through the room, a contagious sound that inevitably brought a warm blush to her cheeks.

“You know who the sender is, don’t you, Kihyun?” she asked, unable to hide her eagerness to unlock the puzzle of the mystery admirer. The continued laughter from Kihyun only fueled her suspicion and growing curiosity. The more she sat there, soaking in his responses, the more she grew slightly infuriated. “Kihyun! This isn’t a laughing matter! This is my love life, possibly the love of my life, a chance at a not-so-lonely Christmas and possibly a kiss going into the New Year!”

His laughter, ringing clear and high, only seemed to amplify with her words as his wide-grinning eyes danced with merriment. He shifted his gaze to the stunning bouquet as if teasing her even more by deliberately not disclosing his knowledge.

guys i'm fucking sobbing. i'm almost done with kihyun's story (longer than mins sorry not sorry) and it is too fucking adorable. i am screaming i hope you guys like this one as much as i loved writing it

A delightful torment lay ahead, and she bawled her hands into fists, bracing herself to keep her feelings at bay; if she could honestly do that, only the season’s magic could tell.

Each year, without fail, the boys of Monsta X would engage in a playful tradition. As the holiday season approached, they’d don their festive hats and drape holiday lights around the dorms, laughter and merriment filling the air. The main event, however, was the hanging of the mistletoe. As per tradition, they took turns tossing it up, the small plant eventually finding a home amidst the maze of lights and decorations. As it dangled there, seemingly innocent, the boys would vigilantly watch, waiting for one of their own to succumb to its charm.

This year was no different. The dorm was filled with the aroma of freshly baked cookies, and the hearty laughter of the boys filled the air. Minhyuk, the one with a legendary aim, was entrusted with hanging the mistletoe. He launched it into the air with a hoot, the boys erupting into cheers as the mistletoe found its place on the ceiling. The holiday ritual was now set into motion.

This year carried a decidedly different undercurrent, however. The boys had an ulterior motive in their holiday games. They had noticed the closeness between Y/N and Hyunwoo over the years. They decided it was time for a little nudge in the right direction. The mistletoe, a symbol of love and friendship, became the perfect tool for their grand plan.
