Today I had to make the incredibly hard decision to say goodbye to my best friend and core of my heart, my cat Saphira. She was 14 years old and I had her for over 12 years. If anyone knew me at least a little, they knew just how much I loved her. She was diagnosed with cancer in her chest and abdomen, as well as kidney failure. Any treatment was extremely risky, and would only prolong her life by a few weeks. I will miss Saphira more than I can say. It feels as if she’ll come trudging around the corner any moment now. There is a memorial Gofundme for her final vet costs.
