Thank you so much! I’m not sure I’ve quite mastered the formula for balancing lighthearted banter with genuine emotion, so I’m relieved that you can see the link between the two.

The Contractor is my baby, and I’d love to see it become what it was intended to be. I really, really hope that I have the energy to get back into that. But WIPs are just so draining, you know? You have to put so much energy into them, and I don’t think I’m as tough as so many of the other writers in this fandom are. ;) So, short answer to your question: I want to get back to it someday. I just have no idea when that’ll be, because I’m a noncommittal yo-yo.

Thank you so much! Their interactions were so fun to write. I’ve marked the story as completed because I’m absolutely awful with fulfilling promises on updates, but I would like to actually resolve that mess I left them in! They all deserve a lil peace of mind, anyway. Maybe even from Peeta’s POV? I’m a total sucker for writing a puppy-eyed Peeta who dotes on his lady.

Synergy

Hi. I know I’ve been AWOL for like 5 months, and my excuse for that is this: I suck. Plain and simple.

Here’s a random, spontaneously written story that will hopefully suffice as an apology. It’s yet another friends-to-lovers story because I have an addiction to mass-producing this trope. I can’t be helped.

Summary: There are bad decisions. And then there's sleeping with your best friend, who is also your other best friend's brother, after their mother's funeral.

Hey friend! This message totally made my night 💕 You’re so sweet.

I’m doing okay. Way in over my head with schoolwork and RA stuff, but I’m learning so much, and I can see myself becoming a better version of me every single day. I’ve had to sacrifice my regular writing schedule while I figure out how to balance all of my obligations, though, which is tragic. Especially since I promised myself I’d have four chapters of a project written by October, and clearly, that’s not happening. 😓 the Main Dude™ is good! He’s been ridiculously patient with me these past few weeks. Probably the only thing that’s constant right now in this chaotic hellscape of a junior year.
