CADENCE JAMES OC

After a turbulent childhood involving a neglectful father, an absentee mother, and a terminally ill older brother, telepathic-telekinetic mutant Cadence was taken in from New York’s streets by Jean Grey, who brought her to live at the Xavier Institute. Various escapades have afforded her few relationships: best friend Kurt Wagner, acquaintance Ororo Munroe, and a snakelike mutant child named Akira who refers to her as “oba-chan”. Cadence’s demeanor has always been pessimistic and violent; the death of Jean and the Professor, who were her mentors and first friends, caused her to withdraw. A budding romance with Warren Worthington III may be helping her tendencies, but her trust remains an elusive gift.

LOTOR canon

Lotor is the son of Zarkon, the emperor of the Galra Empire. Lotor is only half-Galra himself, the other half being Altean from his mother Honerva, who is known now as the witch Haggar. All of his life, Lotor was pushed away by his parents and grew up in an incredibly toxic environment; expected to train constantly and punished for anything other than crushing others under his heel. His dark secrets have surface, and despite that he has always tried to do the right thing, his morals are twisted. Being poisoned by an energy source known as quintessence only furthers his breakdown. Eventually, after escaping its effects, Lotor wants desperately to make amends and do what is truly right. Time will tell whether or not his attempts to change will stick.

D (DMITRI) canon

D is a mysterious figure, traveling from place to place exterminating vampires. He harbors a distrust of most of them, and limits his contact with humans. His travels are almost always conducted alone, with the exception of the sometimes annoying but mostly useful symbiotic parasite in his left hand. When he has a job to do, he will take any risk necessary, even to the point of seeming foolish. While it’s not overtly apparent, there is great compassion and kindness in his heart.
Image

MEIER LINK canon

Meier is an old vampire, and although the Noble life is of some interest to him, he also wants his life to mean something. A young woman named Charlotte Elbourne is the object of his love, his attempt to find some purpose in the world. That heart of hers beats almost in perfect time to his own. Either way, his heart is still that of the night. He must tread carefully with his actions, for her family believed him to have taken her against her will – and even more than that, she is so very breakable.

ASRIEL DREEMURR canon

Asriel is the prince of monsters, a formerly lonely child who loves nothing more than flowers, his adopted siblings, and extra dessert for good behavior. He has actually been dead for quite some time, but thanks to a few friends, he’s managed to regain his soul and physical form. He’s a bit of a crybaby, in addition to being very shy and unsure of himself, but he’s also extremely open to making new friends.
Image

CHARA DREEMURR canon

After an abusive childhood drove them to suicidal feelings and down the opening of Mt. Ebott, Chara was adopted by the Dreemurrs. Like Asriel, they’ve been dead for some years, but have been resurrected. They’re overly polite with most adults, sporting a near permanent smile, and are almost alarmingly astute. They harbor a hatred for humanity after everything they’ve been through, and try to avoid close connections, but… despite it all, just like any other child, they crave love.
Image

CORSIVA OC

Corsiva is a skeleton monster who studies soul power and souls. She is married to and serves as the assistant of Dr. W.D. Gaster. The two of them created Sans and Papyrus as soul experiments, and whether or not Gaster cares for them emotionally, Corsiva is attached to them so much that she refers to them as her sons. Her soul is purple, calling to her main trait of perseverance, and although she is kind, she is also rather insecure. But if anybody tries to harm her loved ones, she won’t hesitate to protect them.
Image

EMMALINE “EM” TOMLIN OC

Em is a young adult who fell down Mt. Ebott about the same time as Frisk did. She traveled with them, meeting many new friends, and staying with Asriel until the two could figure out how to truly save him. Eventually they did, and Em is a frequent visitor to the Dreemurr household to play with and care for Asriel.
Image

FRISK DREEMURR canon

Frisk is a young child who fell down Mt. Ebott by accident while playing one day. As they traveled through the Underground, they refused to truly fight. In the end, their pacifistic nature was what helped set the monsters free. Today, they live with their mother, Hope, and their adoptive parents Toriel and Asgore, but spend lots of time with their siblings and friends, too.
Image

KRIS DREEMURR canon / Deltarune AU

Adopted by the Dreemurrs when they were a teenager and now the only adult child of the family, Kris was always a troubled kid, weighed down by something no one else could see. Like their sibling Frisk, they have the power to SAVE and LOAD, but… there’s also a malevolent force who tries to take over Kris’ body. They’re doing their best to keep it at bay, and they’ve been away at college for a while in an attempt to keep this entity from terrorizing their family. However, when they do come home, anything can happen; they’ll never stop trying to be the responsible, if very antisocial and lonely, older sibling.
Image

(DR.) LAUREN DERRICKS OC – Bittybones AU

Lauren is a human who works as a therapist/rehabilitation specialist for Bitties who have been seriously ill or injured, abused, or disabled. She’s a revolutionary in the world of Bitties, and lives with four of her own in addition to having up to five patients at a time. Her heart is big enough for all of them, even if she doesn’t end up as their forever home.
Image

UNDYNE canon

Undyne is a fish-like monster who lives in the Underground, a massive system under the human world where monsters are sealed. She is the head knight for the Royal Army, under the command of King Asgore, who she is completely loyal to. Although she loves to fight, she also has a big heart and loves to smile.

BRAHMS HEELSHIRE canon

Born into an affluent family in England, Brahms had an incredibly spoiled and mostly happy childhood… until one day at seven or eight years old, he killed one of his friends while playing with her. What exactly happened is up for debate, but after it happened, he and his parents started a fire to fake his death so they could cover it up. Over the past 20-odd years, his parents have hired various nannies in an attempt to care for a doll representing him, but none of them have been up to his standards. Some of them he’s killed, but most have run screaming after he convinced them that the doll was haunted. After hiring the last nanny, an American woman named Greta, his parents left for good and committed suicide, intending to leave her with him forever. Brahms fell in love with Greta, and a series of one bad choice after another led to her attacking him and leaving him for dead so she could escape. Unbeknownst to anyone, Brahms survived his injuries… and is looking for a new nanny.

LA MUERTE canon

La Muerte is a benevolent goddess who rules over an area of the afterlife known as the Land of the Remembered, and she believes that humans’ hearts are pure and good. The one weakness she possesses is that she can’t resist a bet, which her husband Xibalba, ruler of the Land of the Forgotten, often takes advantage of. She cares very much for those around her and for justice; if there is anything in her power she can do to right a wrong, she will do it. Make sure you don’t end up on her bad side.

LEATHERHEAD canon

Once an exotic pet, Leatherhead was flushed into the sewers as a baby, and was found by a peaceful group of an alien race called the Utroms. While in their care, he was accidentally exposed to a substance of their creation that caused him to mutate, gaining great strength and intelligence. For a long time, he lived with them, coming to consider them as family. Eventually they were separated, and Leatherhead began living in the sewers beneath New York City. A series of events led him to befriend the turtle brothers and become their ally. Leatherhead is subject to fits of rage which he can’t control, and after being experimented on by a man named Bishop, these rages only got worse. He believes himself to be nothing but a monster, and although he’s slowly gaining control of himself, he still is wary about being and especially living around others. In the midst of everything else, he is still searching for the Utroms he knows as his family.

Image

AMETHYST canon

Amethyst is a member of the Crystal Gems. She was made in a Kindergarten on Earth, and is referred to as ‘overcooked’, not being a typical Kindergarten Gem. Her personality can be described as big, loud, a little vulgar, and upbeat. Underneath that there’s an insecure side though, but it’s not something many people get to see.
Image

AQUAMARINE canon

Aquamarine is fairly young, but also fairly important… and fairly ruthless. Serving under Blue Diamond, she frequently works with a large fusion named Topaz, taking humans from Earth to be in the late Pink Diamond’s zoo… or, if need be, take them to trial and execution. She’s got a huge mean streak and considers herself superior to others; surprisingly enough, however, there actually is a soft side to her, if one looks hard enough and is lucky.
Image

BLUE ZIRCON canon

As a defense lawyer in the service of Blue Diamond, Blue Zircon tends to get stuck defending Gems whose cases seem absolutely hopeless. Even despite her high-strung, stressed-out nature, she’s intelligent and will always do her best to get her clients out of hot water. It’s all too easy for her to get carried away if she thinks she has a good point… which has landed her in trouble. After defending “Rose Quartz” in a trial and accidentally accusing the other Diamonds of murdering their sister, she’s stuck in her gem and in very deep trouble.
Image

CASSIS OC

Cassis is a servant pearl to Yellow Diamond. The Diamond usually uses her for labor or ornamentation. She is frequently seen in the company of Yellow Pearl. She was stranded on Earth for a time, where she was surprised to meet the Pearl from the Crystal Gems. Now, while she’s still not quite used to Earth or her newfound opinions and emotions, she’s beginning to question Homeworld.
Image

CHERRY QUARTZ OC

Cherry Quartz is a soldier who previously fought alongside Rose Quartz, but now serves Yellow Diamond. Her loyalty switch is mainly due to the fact that she’s been severely brainwashed by Homeworld into thinking that serving them is what Rose would have wanted had she lost the war. Their complicated ways of making her believe that have worked because Cherry is not the brightest bulb in the shed. Regardless, once she eventually discovers the truth… her story turns from mindless soldier to walking existential crisis.
Image

CITRINE OC

Citrine is a member of the Crystal Gems, although she disappeared during the final battle, having been taken prisoner by Homeworld. She refused to give up any information; she is in love with Pearl and Rose, and would not put their safety in jeopardy. She would eventually escape and flee back to Earth, unaware of Rose’s death. Due to Homeworld’s punishment, she is functionally blind, but can ‘see’ using her gem’s energy. She fights with a sharp dagger that can be summoned from her gem.
Image

GARNET canon

Garnet is the fusion of two lovers, Ruby and Sapphire. She is an incredibly stable fusion, and has remained fused for thousands of years without separation. As a member of the Crystal Gems, she has sworn to protect Earth. Most of the time, she seems stoic and distant, but she cares very much about the people around her.
Image

HOLLY BLUE AGATE canon

As the leader of a group of Earth-born Gems who maintain the Human Zoo under Blue Diamond’s command, Holly Blue seems to always be at the end of her rope. Frustrated by and prejudiced against the Gems beneath her, she is strict and abusive to them, and sycophantic to those higher than her. Following an incident with rebel Gems, she’s softened only slightly; she still has incredibly high standards and is none too fond of her crew, but she’s begun to examine and improve her behavior, especially in the wake of Homeworld’s newly begun Era 3.
Image

HOWLITE OC

Howlite is a record-keeper who works in White Diamond’s court. Because she works in White’s court, she has been under the Diamond’s thumb for thousands of years and under constant scrutiny. The high standards have led her to become hardened, putting walls up to avoid any kind of emotional connections; she’s seen Gems be shattered because of those kinds of things. She’s a horrible gossip and will eagerly chatter away to anyone about anything and everything, often starting or encouraging rumors in the process. During Era 3, she’s attempting to let her walls down, but it may be a while before she’s able to fully change.
Image

JASPER canon

Jasper is a Gem under the command of Yellow Diamond. She is a soldier, and as such does whatever is necessary to accomplish her objective – however, she clearly is only truly interested to unleash her full strength if she considers something a challenge. She’s easily bored by things she sees as weak or a waste of her time. Formerly devoted to Pink Diamond, she harbors deep insecurities about her place as well as her entire identity.
Image

LAPIS LAZULI canon

Lapis is a Gem who was originally trapped inside a mirror for thousands of years. Before that, she worked on Homeworld’s side of the war, but tentatively. She no longer wants to be associated with Homeworld. Though it’s taken a while, she’s found a place on Earth. And while she’s an extremely vengeful being, the few people who have earned her love know that she wants to be good.
Image

LEUCO GARNET OC

Leuco Garnet is an intelligence and communications officer who serves under Blue Diamond on Homeworld. Her dedication to her job borders on obsession; she’s constantly watching and listening to everyone. If a Gem’s dissent has been reported to a Diamond, it’s probably because of her. That said, she has a definite soft spot for anything that her Diamond cares for, and she loves learning new things.
Image

MALACHITE canon

Malachite is the fusion between Jasper and Lapis Lazuli. She is extremely powerful, but she’s not a stable fusion. If one of her components isn’t paying attention to the other, the fusion’s actions can very much seem like she’s not in agreement with herself. She’s been split up, but should Lapis and Jasper fuse again after working out their issues, she may be more stable.
Image

NACRE OC

Nacre is a Matron, one of the Gems who heads production and development for an entire Gem type; in her case, Pearls. She is loyal to the Diamond Authority, and is a decidedly cold presence. However, she is actually quite soft-hearted and kind. She’s been known to give ‘defective’ Pearls a chance to serve before the war. After the war, she will occasionally sneak the ‘defectives’ off of Homeworld so they won’t be shattered and recycled.
Image

OPAL canon

Opal is the fusion between Pearl and Amethyst. Her personality is very calm, despite being only a mildly stable fusion. She is protective and motherly, although the slightest distraction or (more likely) disagreement between her components can break up the fusion, as Pearl and Amethyst are only able to work together long enough to fuse during emergency situations. They’re working on that, though, and Opal comes around more often now.
Image

PEARL canon

Pearl is a member of the Crystal Gems, a group of Gems who have sworn to protect humanity out of loyalty to their deceased leader, Rose Quartz. Pearl is a very neurotic and concerned person, especially in regards to Rose’s son, Steven. She’s the most homesick of all the Crystal Gems, and isn’t always fond of humans in general, but she does her best to be positive and keep Earth safe.
Image

PERIDOT canon

Peridot is a Gem formerly under the command of Yellow Diamond, along with Jasper. She is atechnician, and not very capable physically. She’s easily flustered when things don’t go the way she expected them to, and is frustrated with Earth as it’s proven to be a problem. Currently, she’s stuck on Earth, having formed a tentative alliance with the Crystal Gems. She has denounced loyalty to Yellow Diamond, and is doing her best to reform her beliefs so she can help protect the Earth.
Image

RHODONITE canon

Rhodonite is a two-Gem fusion, made up of a Ruby and a Pearl who previously served under a Gem named Morganite. Because of Homeworld’s views toward fusion, she’s in hiding with a group of other Gems who are classified as ‘Off Colors’. She spends most of her time trying to keep her friends (and herself) safe, and is properly paranoid about being found and shattered. After meeting Steven and his friend Lars, she and the rest of her friends went on a series of misadventures… which ended with the entire group crewing a stolen spaceship with a course for Earth.
Image

RONALDO FRYMAN canon

Ronaldo is an excitable young man who works at Beach Citywalk Fries. All his life he’s been interested in conspiracy theories and the supernatural. Living in Beach City provides ample opportunity for investigations of the unusual goings-on in the city. He runs a blog called ‘Keep Beach City Weird’, and is always on the lookout to do just that.
Image

ROSE QUARTZ/PINK DIAMOND canon

Rose Quartz was the leader of the Crystal Gems, prior to her ‘death’. Her true identity was that of Pink Diamond, the youngest of Homeworld’s rulers. Earth was supposed to be her first colony, but upon arriving, she fell in love with all the life and didn’t want to destroy it. After trying and failing to tell her sisters, she faked her own death, with the order that her confidante Pearl never tell anyone about it. Following this, she fully took on the persona of Rose Quartz, leader of the Rebellion. After the Crystal Gems won, she stayed on Earth with the remains of her group… then eventually fell in love and gave up her physical form to have her son, Steven, who possesses her gem.
Image

RUBY canon

Ruby is one component of the near-perfect fusion Garnet. This is possible because Ruby and Garnet’s other component, Sapphire, are in love and presumably have been for thousands of years. Ruby is very emotional, sometimes coming off as hot-headed. When separated from Sapphire, she’s quick to panic and become frustrated as she tries to find her other half.
Image

SAPPHIRE canon

Sapphire is the other component of the near-perfect fusion Garnet. To balance out Ruby’s more ‘fiery’ personality, Sapphire is shown to be fairly calm and rational. When separated from Ruby, she’s likely scared inwardly, but outside she remains level-headed and does her best to find her other half as fast as possible.
Image

SARDONYX canon

Sardonyx is the fusion of Garnet and Pearl. She is fairly stable, only splitting apart when she knows her job is done. Her personality is very fun-loving and flamboyant, acting like a magician to form her weapon and speaking enthusiastically about nearly everything. She doesn’t come out often, but she loves being here.
Image

SKINNY canon

Because she was made in the Beta Kindergarten during the war on Earth, and came out ‘wrong’, Skinny is a Jasper who’s now in Blue Diamond’s command. She and an assorted group of other Earth-born Gems serve as guards for the late Pink Diamond’s human zoo, under their boss, Holly Blue Agate. Skinny is laid-back and friendly, and would rather goof around with her sisters than fight constantly like Quartzes are known for. She’s accepting not only of other types of Gems, including ‘defectives’, but also humans, and lacks a derogatory attitude toward fusion.
Image

SPINEL canon

Spinel is the former playmate of Pink Diamond, who left her in their personal garden for about 6000 years under the guise of playing a game. Upon receiving a transmission about Pink’s son, Steven, and his friends (Pink’s other friends), Spinel suffered a breakdown which led to her stealing weapons and attempting to destroy the Earth as well as erase the Crystal Gems’ memories. In addition, Spinel’s were erased for a time, but after getting them back, she clung to Steven as her new friend. Another sequence of events built up to another breakdown on Spinel’s part. After trying again to poison Earth and fighting Steven, she eventually realized that not only was her behavior toxic, it wasn’t going to make her feel better. She now lives on Homeworld with the Diamonds, but she visits the Earth often and is trying to improve herself so that she can be the friend she wants to be to everyone she cares about.
Image

STEVEN QUARTZ/DIAMOND UNIVERSE canon

Steven Universe is the only half-human half-Gem in existence, made out of the love his mother had for all the humans on planet Earth. He’s usually happy and optimistic, but he also struggles with an identity of humanity due to not being completely human. Regardless of his own troubles, he cares very much about those around him and will risk a lot to keep them safe. As of now, he has successfully redeemed Peridot, will always try to find the peaceful way first, and… is trying to deal with the revelation that his mother was a Diamond.
Image

SUGILITE canon

Sugilite is the fusion between Amethyst and Garnet. Thanks to being a very unstable fusion, her personality is violent and unpredictable; she’s only needed when something both big and strong is required, but she can stay fused long after that. However, the longer she stays fused, the more likely she is to become a threat. Violence aside, she still wants her friends to accept her, and seeks their approval even if it’s not readily apparent.
Image

VIDALIA canon

Vidalia used to be a rockstar, ‘the next big thing’ as explained by her manager and boyfriend Marty. However, after becoming pregnant with her first child (Sour Cream), she settled down into a domestic but still creative life. She married a fisherman named Yellowtail, and had with him another son (Onion). She’s an avid painter, with a hands-off approach to parenting while still adoring her children.
Image

YELLOW DIAMOND canon

Yellow Diamond is one of the leaders of Homeworld. She is ruthless and powerful, but is also still heavily grieving her sister Pink Diamond’s death. Her grief takes the form of trying to get rid of anything that reminds her of Pink – up to and including the Earth. Despite being quick to anger and indifferent to other forms of life, she would be willing to at least attempt change, if only for the sake of her sisters and Pink’s memory.
Image

YELLOW PEARL canon

Yellow Pearl is a servant to Yellow Diamond, one of the rulers of Homeworld. As like most Pearls, she’s been conditioned to believe that she shouldn’t experience emotions, and that her entire life is for Yellow Diamond, not for herself. She has internalized all of this enough that her personality comes off snobby and elitist. Under the act, she is actually cripplingly insecure and afraid of being replaced.

SCP-049 / “The Plague Doctor” canon

A mysterious anomaly who was captured and contained by the SCP Foundation without much resistance, SCP-049 is also known as “The Plague Doctor” due to his appearance of a long, white, mask-like beak and traditional plague doctor robes. These are a part of his body, however, having grown over time. Generally he’s incredibly cooperative with the Foundation, with the exception of something he refers to as “the Pestilence”, the description of which has never been fully explained. If he believes an individual to be infected with the Pestilence, he will attempt to cure them; first by a single touch, which is lethal, and then by performing ‘surgery’ which leaves the affected in a zombie-like state. Other than this he’s displayed a remarkable intelligence and willingness toward conversation, but as several doctors have found out firsthand, he is… unpredictable.

She floated to the moon, where she’s stayed, while Houyi eventually passed away on Earth. After an attempt to see him again using a Gift from a human girl, Fei Fei, failed, she sunk into despair.
