duuuuuuuuude, yes. LOOOOOVE them. I actually just recently fell in love with them (when I went to their concert on the 12th -of this month; the second I saw Liam, I fell in crazy, messy love with him .. and then the rest of the guys I’ve missed out on so much so I’m trying to catch up on them now OTL
ALSO! they remind me so much of DBSK. OTL. I think that’s why I fell in such deep poo of love for them; they sing well live and each member of 1D reminds me of a member of DBSK - ITS CRAZY!:
- my bias, Liam, is the least fan-favorite, the best singer & live singer of the group, the one with the most vocal abilities, the butt of all jokes, the who auditioned first (Liam auditioned in ‘08 as well as ‘10.), the one who talks a lot, a lot, a lot during interviews — just like Junsu~
ugh. my love for Liam is ridiculous. - Harry, the main vocalist, the face of the group, the flirt, the one who is always topless, the fan-favoritestestestestest — like Jaejoong.
- The quieter one who sits & watches everyone, but talks toooo much when asked a question, joins in cause everyone else is doing it, the one who hits all the high notes — Zayn & Changmin.
- For a while, I didn’t know who resembled Yoochun the most … after some careful (though not really) consideration, it was Niall. Both from different countries (Chun from the States & Niall from Ireland), the goofy, emotional (I’ve seen quite a few things about Niall crying, hahaha), and quite the drinkers (saw a video of “drunk Niall" singing Little Things HAHAHAHA). oh, Niall is quite good at impersonations and Yoochun is quite the actor .. that’s somewhat a similarity too~
- Lastly, our Yunho & Louis .. these two are quite opposite actually. HAHA. Louis is THE MOST care-free being in the world whereas Yunho is always busy worrying about something or trying to perfect something. but a similarity is that their voices are one of the weakest of the group. Louis is the (self-proclaimed) leader of 1D - and we all know Yunho is an ahmayzingggg leader.
anddddddd, the besttttttttttttttt thing about 1D is that they’re themselves - they don’t have an image they’re trying to set, they wear whatever, say whatever (and they sure do say whatever), and they’re sooooo freakin hilarious. omg.
anyone who doesn’t like 1D (WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!!! jk.) or hasn’t checked them out … you HAVE to check them out RIGHT NOW. I will share (with what little, yet not so little, 1D knowledge I have)~~

I agree~ each OTP definitely has different, awesome dynamics.
1. The type of friendship/relationship that I can relate to the most would be … MinSu & YooMin. Minsu because I bicker a lot with my friends & YooMin -the kings of trolling & bullying- because I’m usually the one who makes fun & troll others :P
2. The type of friendship I would like to have … would be YooSu. I love that no matter how dumb Junsu’s jokes are, Yoochun is willing to laugh at it; no matter how jerk-ish & troll-ish Yoochun is to Junsu, he still puts up with it; they’re so comfortable with each other and they’re so opposite yet so similar.
3. The type of friendship that I envy is HoSu; their history together and the way they’re the more ‘mature’ & ‘serious’ OTP yet they’re so dumb & immature sometimes. They’re over-looked yet they’re so precious and cute.
4. What I dislike about each pairing …
- YunJae: overrated.
- HoSu: underrated. I JUST LOVE HOSU TOO MUCH OK.
- 2U: .. idk. what’s there to dislike about 2U .. maybe cause they’re underrated as well? kinda ridiculous too.
- HoMin: overrated. I like them being awkward together. I hate that they act like Jae, Chun, & Su were never part of the group. idk if thats what SM tells them to do/say .. but whatever. I hate it.
- JaeChun: the fact that they’re freakin bullies to Junsu .. but then again, I don’t hate them for that.
- JaeSu: underrated but sometimes overrated. they’re frickin ridiculously cute and dumb together. I do hate the way Jae looks at Su like he’s freakin incompetent sometimes.. but sometimes, Su really is incompetent.
- JaeMin: overrated I love them together to bitssss!
- YooMin: I dislike that they troll Su so much but … I can’t blame them. they’re ridiculous.
- YooSu: they’re so overrated but I love them. they’re the dumbest OTP in the world.
- MinSu: underrated. UGH. I JUST LOVE THEM SO MUCH. SOBS. ;___;
am I missing any OTP’s ? oh well~ and … ok. sorry. my answers to that question sucked OTL
5. oh. what an awesome question. ok … if I could take any aspects of their relationships & add it to my own … I would want …
- YunJae: the way they look at each other & just know. /sigh. I would want that applied to my (non-existing) love life.
- HoSu: as mentioned before, I like their history together & how ‘mature’ yet dumb they are; to have someone know you for so long, who is on the same page as you, who you can be dumb with and be serious yet and work with and relax & play with .. that’s wonderful.
- 2U: being so opposite of one another but so understanding.
- HoMin: I love their awkwardness but I would not want it in my life. hahahaha
- JaeChun: I love how they drink together and are emo together. having a buddy like that is awesome.
- JaeSu: how Jae is always on an emotional rollercoaster and Su is always there with him. I want someone to ride with me on my crazy rollercoasters~ haha
- JaeMin: the way they bicker and act like they hate each other but really love each other. that’s adorable. except I have that kind of relationship with my younger sister & it’s not that adorable OTL
- YooMin: I’d like to have a buddy who makes fun of people with me. well, my cousins & I do that already — it’s nice :)
- YooSu: just … having a friend treat me the way YooSu treat each other — sigh.
- MinSu: EVERYTHING. the way they argue over nothing, bully & make fun of each other, how the dongsaeng is suddenly the hyung & the hyung is the dongsaeng ... that's purely awesome.

actually, junsu's fanbase is a lot larger than most of the members at least in korea. there's a reason why he has two full albums and has done far more solo songs than any of the other members. in general, junsu has been the most active as a solo and, therefore, successful.
yes, his fan-base is quite large but if you put it in to perspective with the other members, imo, I don’t think its as big. and he’s done more solo songs (OST & whatnot) because he has the better voice.
also, the question was saying if the member originally went solo - meaning, if they went solo back then, not if they went solo now. “originally" is the key word to the question.
and plus, I said he was successful. I’m not trying to put it otherwise.

1. Yunho - he lost his chubby, baby fat cheeks and when he fixed his teeth & cut his hair. Changmin & Junsu - they really, really manned up. they both had baby faces when they debuted.
2. I think everyone had said that Changmin’s change was most dramatic .. ‘from an angel to a devil’ — hahaha.
3. most successful, I’d say Junsu & Yoochun - Junsu was in those musicals & Yoochun was in so many dramas. sure, Yunho was in a musical & dramas too but the dramas didn’t go so well. Paradise Ranch, for Changmin, was just alright — although he looked sooooooo goooooooooood :)
4. Jaejoong would be just as successful going solo. talent-wise, Junsu, fan-base wise, not so much of Junsu.
5. again, maybe Junsu. his fan-base isn’t all that big compared to the other 4 but I think once he got more known (if he debuted solo), everyone would looooooooove him. I cannot seem to pinpoint why, but I kinda feel like maybe Changmin and/or Yunho wouldn’t do as well solo either.

whoops, I went four songs over… it’s ok~ ooh, but if they would have ever performed Pictures of U and/or Evergreen, those songs would be on the list too.
ugh. my feelings are somewhat similar but different when HoMin / JYJ sing OT5 songs. ngl, I’m a little bit more bitter, but also sad, when HoMin sings DBSK song (like when they sang Rising Sun, Mirotic, Time Please Stop, and ‘em other songs~ ugh.); it’s a bit more painful, for me, to listen to HoMin sing OT5 songs. when JYJ sings DBSK songs, I’m just sad; on top of saddness, it’s also a bit depressing for me & it makes me nostalgic to hear both, HoMin &/or JYJ, sing DBSK songs.

When I think back to the HOSU couple, don't you feel they have something different from the other couples/friendships.. There was something you can feel and see when you watch them together. I mean SU/JJ known each just as long as SU/YH but when you compare the two relationships there was some different that maybe to personality or experiences together during predebut. But SU/YH has that real brotherly feel. "Hyung and Dongseang feel" u know??lol I was just thinking.. cause I really miss HOSU.
if my memory & my research is correct, Junsu & Yunho knew each other before Jaejoong came into the picture (Junsu trained for 6 years, Yunho for 4, & Jaejoong for 3 — so HoSu had a good year together). but regardless, I totally agree!
HoSu is different. they definitely give off a brotherly, hyung-dongsaeg, really loving feeling

What i love about dbsk, they can sing together in 2, 3, 4, or 5 better than anyone. Their korean but mainly japanese songs proves that. i love it when they sing in 2 or 3, they all just blend so well together. Seriously not a lot of the other groups' songs are structure in this matter where they sing with just a 2, 3, 4.. it's always just one or all singing at once. This showcases DBSK's charm &that they can harmonize and sing together perfectly together no matter if it's just 2, 3, 4 or 5.
I totally agree with everything. whether they’re singing as 5, as 2, as 3, or even if they’re singing solo — it will sound beautiful. thus, I must bring in one of Jae’s infamous quotes~
I'm looking through your minsu tag, emoshinki right now lol, anyways it made me reminisce a bit on these pics/gifs.. even though they both bicker and troll on each other, if you look deeper & follow them pass that, you can actually see an endearing hyung&dongsaeng relationship there. Seriously, half of their moments are either bickering/trolling each other or js being a hyung to cm and cm being a dongsaeng looking out for and following his hyung. This makes me miss them so much. Minsu-ah!! :')
I agree! I love their beautifully complicated yet simple, troublesome, trolling-bickering, hate-loving relationship. behind it all is a hyung-dongsaeng & great friends type of relationship.

any OT5 pictures make me happy, sad, and filled with mix-emotions and filled with those emoshinki feels T__T
things, the way they are now, are ok .. but, of course, I wish it would go back to OT5 — there was just so much more happiness~ for all of them. and for us.
proud? yes. I’m very proud of what they’ve overcome and achieved. I think … overcoming their hardships in Japan (when they first debuted in Japan, starting at the veryyyyy bottom and ever-so-slowly climbing to the top), finally performing at Tokyo Dome, their successes in 2008, making their comebacks as 2 & 3 .. those are all moments that make me very, veryyyy proud of them. of course there are more .. but those stick out to me.
moments that for DBSK that I can stare at for a while — any time they’re on stage together, for example: x | x | x | x . and obviously manyyyy more. saddest award receiving moment: x . sad HoMin performance of How Can I: x . anything Minsu & HoSu because I’m really biased. sad times: x | x . stupid times: x | x | x | x .

1. he’s not the ‘most hated’ … but he’s the least liked — Junsu.
2. Jaejoong, errrrrybody loves Jaejoong.
3. most replayed DBSK clip … video, show clip? I always rewatch Bonjour Paris, All About DBSK 3, and Junsu & Yunho’s episode on Family Outing. if we’re talking about video, performance clips … any Insa performances this post.
4. favorite variety show moment of each member … hmmm … I don’t have a specific moment but I do have a few favorite shows that they’ve been on. as mentioned before — I LOOOOVE Junsu & Yunho’s episode on Family Outing. I looooove Junsu on Jeolchin Note; Junsu, Yoochun, & Changmin on Fantasy Couple (obviously I like a lot of the shows that Junsu has been in. hahaha); My Favorite, Chocolate, Over the Mountain, Bonjour Paris, & AADBSK (all seasons cause they’re great). History In Japan is alright too.
5. mmm … I think they would do a great collab with a good vocal group like Brown Eyed Girls.
6. a few stories that I remember the most … during their pre-debut days, when Yunho stayed with Junsu’s family for a while; when SM wanted to do rotation within DBSK and Jaejoong would’ve been the first one out and Yoochun cried during a performance of Miduhyo (041121) - ok, that’s not really a story but I definitely remember that; when they talked about their hardships in Japan on Star Show; … ehh, I’ll leave it at this. there’s too many to name OTL
7. one charm (the following are more like character traits in this instance) about each member — Jaejoong’s unending love, worry, and care for the members, Yunho’s selflessness, Yoochun’s troll-ness and playfulness with the members, (imo) Junsu’s presence has a comfort — like, you can relax cause Junsu’s around, and Changmin’s wittiness as well as the way he looks up to his hyungs.
8. something I wish the members would change about themselves … Jaejoong, he is strong (emotionally) .. but I wish he was stronger, and a bit less emotional because it’s so sad T__T .. oh, and I wish he didn’t smoke; Yunho … I wish he was less strong — to cry if he needs to cry, sad to see him hold back as well; Yoochun, I wish he didn’t smoke either .. and I wish he would be less emo; Junsu, I wish he could let himself go — like, he doesn’t always have to be ‘happy’ and ‘funny’ ..; Changmin, I wish he didn’t change so much .. I mean, it’s great that he’s so independent and so talkative … but I’m selfish .. I liked it when people thought he was quiet and they didn’t know he was so snarky and hilarious he really is.

dongbangsexual replied to your post: I think the reason SM let YH/JS talk majority of the time in interviews& shows is because they’re better speakers(?) and better at controlling their feelings and words majority of the time. I think compared to the other member YH/JS are better at not giving off an annoyed, tired, ect. when speaking. JJ sometimes is random and a bombshell like what JS mentioned before with his remarks lol, YC/CM are like what you see is what you get, doesnt really control their expressions or hide their feelings.
