‘   have you read the headlines?       there’s a focus coming from his green eyes to bold paper words: WISCONSIN KILLER STRIKES AGAIN! as right under said, WHO IS THE MILWAUKEE BUTCHER AND WHAT IS HAPPENING TO AMERICA? it is, in some way or another, satisfying.  from concerned citizens to the mayor’s statement that they were going to do something, and whoever this killer was, man or woman, they belonged behind bars. yet they got something wrong: a body part that was found buried in the woods on wednesday, that wasn’t his.  ‘   it’s just... sick. i mean, i won’t lie - i’m locking my doors tonight.      but you don’t need to. YOU’RE IT !  even though you do lock it anyways.   ‘    besides .. do you really think they’d just bury it in the woods? seems unlikely to me.    ’      simon westfield: part time barista, tech nerd, deep web legend and creepypasta material, wanted man and now, serial killer enthusiast. even if it’s about himself.

i just thought about it and - everything that comes out of simon’s mouth is bullshit. you never know whether he’s telling the truth or if he’s simply lying to you. even when he’s not with his nerdy, midwestern suburban golden boy mask on, even if he’s got caught and is giving an interview - his answers will always differ. they’ll always be somehow distorted. but in a way that makes sense, in a way that draws you in. he won’t give you the truth just because you want to, just because he’s probably got arrested and is on death row. he knows he’s there because he wanted to, because by the end of the day to die by lethal injection is what he wants. he wants to control his own ending, so there’s no reason at all to give people what they think is real when they can just make their own assumptions anyways. and maybe he is giving you the real deal, partially and in between the lines, but maybe most people just can’t tell.
