Hi, I really enjoyed your Arumika fanfic called Love. I've been eagerly waiting to know what happens next. I know real life has a way of keeping one busy though. Do you when the next update can be expected?

To any readers still following my blog and has been wondering why “Love” has been on a very long hiatus, it’s mostly because I really, really disliked how I wrote it tbh (yk how overtime, your writing style slightly changes so when you look back at old works you start to feel some sort of revulsion for them? Yeah, that’s me and “Love” rn)
I’ve been putting it off longer than anticipated tbh. That and my other tumblr blog of SnK socmed au;; But lmao life has been wild and I’ve had some health issues at a pt :”) [nth too serious dw!] and only managed to update Bloodlust & Under My Wing more often bc I rly love the premise and those two (esp UMW) has been my coping mechanism/outlet haha :”)
Honestly surprised me that that many people love “Love” haha and it really touches my heart. I wish I could feel the same way. Anyway, after much thought I decided that I will complete “Love”— except, it’ll be done in the next two chapters.
The next chapter will serve as a transition + much needed AruMika talk. And the finale will be a very, very long one-shot.
As for when it’ll be out? I’m not so sure, tbh. Hopefully june? Or by end of this year hopefully. I don’t really want to leave my works hanging forever :”)
Anyways if you’ve read to the end, thank you. And if there’s anything I’ve learnt these past 2?? years is that it’s important to take care of your health and yourself (mentally, emotionally, physically etc)

I do plan to continue, but as mentioned in the A/N life is hectic (even more so this year) and while I’m sure I can churn out a chapter within a day or two on a weekend or something, the quality will probably be trashier than it already is HAHA (not me and my self depreciating humour-- anyway-)
I managed to find some time to work on it! Recently, I’ve made a twitter thread (click here to view) displaying my word progress for the next chapter. For bloodlust, I’d say its 65% done?? If time is on my side, it’ll be out next week :).

PS: honestly, next year I’ll probably be able to churn out chapters quicker without reducing the quality; but hopefully the SNK fandom won’t die out by then since the show/manga is ending very soon :,D
