In both their cases, they are the alternate/iteration that became completely different than the others, Neil a pirate and Michael a cowboy. They dress up in cool outfits, are dramatic, silly, fun to be around and very charming. Their alternates/iterations think they are embarrassing but pfft that doesn't matter to them!

They are sensible, level headed and dedicated to their work, enough that they don't let the drama in their surroundings affect them. While they might not throw themselves into trouble, they will quietly do what's right and help where they can.
Phobos Umbris would be Orange Ty Betteridge.
He is the worst and he has fun with it. Everyone knows better than to fuck with them, and if you end up catching their attention, you can only hope that they'll be merciful and just kill you. They both love playing with their prey.
