Millennials are Killing the Bed Frame Industry: Feminist Edition

Getting a $50 bed frame that gets your mattress off the floor will extend the life of your mattress. You sweat when you are sleeping and it seeps into the mattress. A lot of it evaporates from the surface, but some goes down in deeper. Over the years you could end up with mildew and rot at the bottom of your mattress. God forbid you have carpet under it, that would need replacing too. If your mattress has air flow under it, it will evaporate from both sides instead of mildewing.

I don’t think anyone ever told me why you get a mattress frame, that makes so much sense.

like I've spoken to people who think in images, who have to translate each thought into words before they communicate. and I think entirely in words, laid out across the void inside my head. my father's thinking is 3d, concepts structured in ways that are incredibly difficult to translate into words. and how would that look to me, if I could see into it? how do I perceive a thought that my mind cannot contain by the nature of their construction?

The big discourse on twitter right now is that writers going on strike or cancelling their own series are breaking an invisible “contract” they made with their fans and all creators owe their fans a satisfying conclusion to their stories. Actually if a creator says “I don’t want to perform this labor anymore,” then regardless of the cliffhanger that leaves you with, your only response should be “take care! Thank you for all your hard work!!!” :)

every single time I rewatch the pilot I am convinced that Will was in the woods in the upside down at the same time that they found Eleven in the woods and that when Mike hears something for the first time before he sees Eleven he somehow sensed Will there like what's the point of making them turn two times and even frame a completely empty space in the woods???? maybe Will was there in the UD because after Joyce gets the phonecall the demogorgon arrives so Will had to run into the woods and kept running until he stumbled there because he heard Mike's voice and maybe that is also when El sees him, before the party finds her!
