TUH Ch 7 Sneak Peek
I’ve finished the first draft of chapter 7! Usually at this point, I hate what I’ve written and want to quit writing, but for once, I actually like what I have so far.
I’ll spend this weekend editing and have a new chapter published for you on Tuesday!
They paused outside Imogen’s room. “Do you love her?” Bodhi asked.
“You of all people should know why—“
Bodhi waited for Garrick to finish his thought, sighing when it became clear that he wouldn’t. “Do you at least know what you’re going to say?”
Garrick shook his head. “I thought about it the whole flight here but nothing seemed right. I’m hoping something comes to me in the moment.”
“Do you want me or Xaden to give the eulogy at your funeral?

Fourth Wing Characters And Their Red Flags (Iron Flame Spoilers)
Violet: really bad at basic math (6+1=??), constantly interrupts people when they’re about to spill the tea, caused a questionable stain on the Tyrrendor Throne.
Xaden: unresolved mommy issues, really bad at 20 questions, stuck in his emo phase, has Endgame by Taylor Swift on repeat so much it seeps into his vocabulary, inappropriate use of the communal gym showers, self-sacrificial to a fault.
Dain: patchy beard, memory thief, used his nepo baby connections to get the wingleader position even though he sucks at it, has a low key crush on Xaden (the true enemies to lovers all along).
Jesinia: writes Xaden & Violet fanfiction with explicit scenes during work hours.
Andarna: forgets to take her melatonin and makes it everyones problem.
Tairn: major exasperated dad energy, v emotional and impulsive, unresolved trauma around Naolin, superiority complex when it comes to gryphons.
Sgael: Not that good at making choices.
Nolon: HIPAA violations for sure, was the true weakest link all along.
Caroline Ashton: dared to be in the book more than Garrick???? Literally wtf.
Brennan: Faked his own death yet chose the most obvious pseudonym ever, so deep in the closet he’s living in Narnia.
Mira: the abusive sibling (she was justified tbh), really bad at getting very obvious hints.
Daddy Sorrengail: literally doesn’t have a name? Speaks in code to his children for plot reasons only. Weak heart (sure buddy).
Rhiannon: Makes every other character look bad because she’s an actual angel.
This is the actual best thing I've read since Iron Flame

FOURTH WING THEORY, POSSIBLE SPOILERS BELOW
You've been warned lol.
So I finally finished Fourth Wing and I've been doing an internet deep dive in the meantime trying to find out literally anything about Iron Flame.
We know that Sloane, Liam's sister, will be appearing in the second book. I am so happy she will have Violet there to guide her by the sounds of it since Liam won't be there (still not over it, still in denial).
Anyhoo, I've seen a lot of people saying that maybe the reason Liam already knew sign language and was able to communicate with Jesinia when he and Violet visited the Archives while on library duty is because his sister, Sloane, is actually deaf. I'm not sure if this is actually going to end up being true or not but I think it would be interesting to explore a familial link to how he knows sign (maybe his dad or mom was deaf?)
So here's my theory: Liam's signet power was (ugh 😭) Farsight, allowing him to see very far into the distance. I think it would be a really cool twist if Sloane's power related to his, and instead of vision, she was gifted with the ability to hear what her dragon does, therefore having superhearing of some sort.
Or...... if Liam's dragon had a sibling and she ends up bonding to its sibling at Threshing.
I'm just super excited to meet her character and see how she fits into Fourth Wing we know and love.
I don't know if anyone else regliously read the Transformers fics written by J.M. Spellbound, but I was OBSESSED, and I haven't read them in a while and wanted to go back and do some rereading today only to find that ALL of the fics have been deleted 🥺
I've literally never been so heartbroken. Does anyone know why they were taken down or by some hail mary have them saved to a device for reading still? They were literally my favorite fics ever. I was tempted to PM the author but wasn't sure if I'd get a response 😞😭
