im sure someone's said this, but im so interested in the scapegoat armband....like obviously it's a cool gimmick, but the metatext of an armband to deliver that gimmick is like:

  1. armband as political signifier: i wear my cause on my arm. this is what I'm fighting for.
  2. armband as mourning: jungle boy is dead, and you killed him. long live jack perry.
  3. armband as reminder: never as long as i wear this will you forget that you are at fault for what I've become.
