This was supposed to be my post for David week day 5 buuuuut I got a little … okay a loot busy.  I still need to learn how to shade in ai but I think its coming along well. but I hope you all still enjoy.

Entry #3 for @danvidweek! For today’s theme I went with water, mostly because I wanted to write a story in which David gives Daniel a swimming lesson when it turns out he doesn’t know how to, unaware that Daniel is short circuiting the entire time because why the fuck is he hot he’s David wtfghagjfjk he’s nervous.

On a related note, I like to think that David is somewhat muscular, but probably less so than I made him look here. We already know he’s pretty strong, considering that he is always being climbed by children and prefers to carry Max under one arm like a sack of flour. Sure, he’s a beanpole, but he’s probably got some lean muscle from doing outdoor stuff all the time. Anyway, please to enjoy, sorry the lineart is so sketchy.

Here’s @danvidweek entry number 4. The theme was “Embarrassed’, so naturally I had to communicate what a touch-starved and socially inept goon Daniel is using a messy sketch comic and an old meme. While I like scary & domineering Daniel as much as the next guy, I’m more of the camp (hah) that because of the  purity-obsessed cult beliefs and behaviors taking time to unlearn, he has no fucking clue how to interact with people or handle any amount of affection normally, even if he does actually want those things. Luckily, David is part golden retriever pretty well adapted to dealing with prickly people who don’t know how to handle wanting or receiving physical affection from others.

I wanted to ad bad jokes as well but I don¨t have time for it Sorry.

I honestly LOVED taking part in this week. It was the first time I took part in something like this and honestly, I am really happy about that. This most likely has helped me get better in my writing, and I know for a fact that I will take part in Danvid week if it happend next year as well!
