I really wanted to write a Thomas x MC fic as there is a severe lack of them out there and that's not ok. If you want to be tagged let me know 😃
Pairing: Thomas Mendez x MC (Roze Day)
Word count: 750
Summary: Roze and Thomas finally find a free moment to themselves. Confessions and made. Mistakes happen.
Glass of wine in hand, Roze smiled as she curled up next to Thomas on his couch. the kids were with the resident babysitter levi on top of finally having some alone time they were also celebrating winning the court case against guy.
"I can't believe he almost won, he is as manipulative in court as he was in a relationship." she smiled absentmindedly as she swirled what was left of her wine.
"good thing you're dating one of the best lawyers in the state then isn't it" he joked back at her in an attempt to lighten the mood.
she had officially been dating Thomas for about a month now but hadn't told anyone including Luz or Lucy about them. they were taking things slow giving Thomas the time he needed to move on from the ghosts of the past. Roze was understanding and was been patient as possible with him.
she curled up to him and smiled against his chest moments like these were like heaven to her and she wouldn't trade them for anything in the world (well maybe Lucy)
"you know what?" she mumbled as she started dozing off to sleep. the way he held her as he stroked her hair made her feel the safest she ever had and made her almost fall asleep there and then.
"what?"
"I love you"
a million thoughts rushed through his head suddenly. did she mean it? I mean she's half asleep she could just have not meant it maybe she was just dreaming? what would he tell Lulu? would she be ready to have a mother figure back in her life?
all of the thoughts stopped as he opened his mouth to respond. he knew he couldn't lie to her he had to tell her that he loved her.
"I love you too soleda-"
he cut himself off realising what he just said and Roze's eyes snapped open as she looked up at him realising what he just said. She opened her mouth to respond but no words came to mind she wanted to say something, anything to wipe the look of horror off of his face. Quickly, he stood up, grabbing the wine glasses and using them as an excuse to escape, he walked in to the kitchen before Roze could stop him.
Roze quickly regained her composure as she jumped up and ran after him.
as she stepped in to the kitchen her heart shattered at the sight in front of her.
Thomas was sat on the floor leaning against the counters, head in his hands, crying.
she opened her mouth but no words escaped her. instead, she walked up to him and sat down beside him, wrapping her arms around him as her own tears started to fall.
they sat like that for what felt like hours until Roze muttered "I'm so sorry Thomas I shouldn't have said that I lov-" she cut her self off realising her poor choice of words.
for the first time since he slumped down of the floor Thomas looked up and met Roze's gaze and he smiled at her.
"no don't you dare start feeling sorry for yourself you have done nothing wrong. I'm glad you told me how you feel and I'm glad you feel the same way as I do. i messed up badly I'm so sorry you must think I am still hung up on her, that I'm never getting over her. I understand if you don't want to do this anymor-"
she cut him off In the only way she knew how. she planted a soft kiss on his lips the taste of salt still fresh. all too soon the kiss ended and Thomas rested his forehead on hers.
"I love you Thomas Mendez and I would wait a lifetime to be with you so if you need time then just let me know I'm sorry if I was moving too fast."
"I.. I love you too." he said as he stood up and took Roze's hand and pulled her up with him and pulled her in to his arms. And kissed her again this time more fiercely.
"I love you Roze don't you ever forget that."
The lack of Thomas Mendez fics upsets me. So I'm going to change that

I get that you are trying and all but I think the whole fanbase would agree that @playchoices has gone seriously downhill since nexon bought out pixelberry.
I am going to try and speak on behalf of the fandom who at this point i feel share a similar view on the game as a whole at the moment.
I think everyone would be more pleased if time was taken to write higher quality books even if it meant a lower quantity.
And what is with increasing wait time to 3 hours. It takes 3 hours to get a single key now it was just fine before. Sure you are trying to increase key sales but at what cost? Losing old customers that have been there for years?
I get that you're only human and creating a whole original game with loads of original titles within it must be difficult and I really don't blame writers or artists for the downfall of choices it is up to the higher ups who are putting out increased pressure for more books and more diamond options.
Another thing that bugs me is that the game is rated a 12 in the app store however it has some really suggestive scenes in it which I would never want a child to see. I get that this is to attract a younger audience but is it really worth it? What if it were your child reading some of theses stories would you be happy.
I also have to say I feel like a lot of people are upset that certain titles have been left unfinished while new titles that don't live up to the old standards.
I get that choices is huge and one fandoms opinions probably won't change anything. I get that trying to tailor a story to so many people without having some people upset is impossible. But ignoring basically a whole fandom of upset people without hearing their views? That's bad.
However, like a lot of people I am holding on For a dear few books (mainly OH and RoD)
Now here are my full honest thoughts on the current books no hate please this is my opinion which I am entitled to.
SK: is so boring that the writers can't think of a better dramatic ending to a chapter than a tin of soup I think that says enough about the plot.
BP: made me cringe and eye roll when I seen the teasers for it I couldn't read past chaper 2 I just had a real bad feeling about it. And what I think was meant to be the LIs were like limp noodles
BB2: has to be one of my faves out at the moment but it feels rushed in some areas and dragged out in others. And don't get me started on the threesomes they seem so forced.
RCD3: well I keep forgetting this exists and every Friday I log on I'm like oh wait RCD that's a thing. Honestly chazz might as well be my fiancée given we do all the wedding planning with him and I see him a lot more than hunt (my li) honestly we can go 2 chapters without seeing hunt it's frustrating.
BSC: it's like the writers don't know what the plot is meant to be and they are trying to figure it out. We have a election, a reality show, partnership of ranches, swayer becoming a rodeo star, and so many other meaningless plots it's downright confusing.
TRH: not gonna lie i only got through about 3 chapters before quiting on it. And from what i have seen Its more BSC than BSC2. I really enjoyed TRR but failed to have the same enthusiasm for TRH the plot seems forced and I see no point this book after we had a good ending in TRR it just feels like a cheap cash grab to me.
DD: so I fell in love with the first book and was mildly disappointed with the second I am hoping the 3rd book will set things straight so far not much has gone wrong yet we are wedding planning with out LI which is fantastic after the upsets from RCD3 but again I feel like too many subplots are distracting us from the main storyline.
