An update...

I have put “Dreaming Back to the Qing Dynasty” on hold and have been watching dumb sweet shows like “The Fairyland Lovers” starring Bai Yu and “Half Bright and Half Rain”. These two shows are VERY similar in that they deal with magic, a young-looking ancient swordsman who falls for a seemingly normal girl. This not my go-to for dramas (if you follow my stuff, you know I tend towards the historical, gritty dramas), but for SOME UNKNOWN REASON I’ve been sucked in. 

Also on hold: The Ming Dynasty and Royal Nirvana. 

Also, “The Romance of Hua Rong” was surprisingly a good drama. I highly recommend it. I am very tempted to post more on these drama because of how much I liked it. The main guy is super cute and his wooing of the main girl is pretty funny. It’s available on Youtube with English subs.

Notice how Shan Yu doesn’t even question it or make a comment about “BUT YOU’RE A GIRL” he just instantly goes into a “I’LL TEACH YOU TO KILL MY MEN AND STEAL MY VICTORY” rage and I think about this a lot sometimes
