Okay, as I promised here is the fully finished set for the whole techy "wild wild west" idea western cowboy/outlaw esque whatever horrid mixture of idea I had in my mind for whatever reason. And with perhaps better screenshots to show it off.

To say again, I actually really fucking like it! So the idea was this half elegant look with some subtle rugged look with the shoulder/cape part, the techy/steampunk(?) look comes more from a bit of metallic look via the hat, the shoulders partially having metal, and the "augmented" power gloves. Honestly I wanted those gloves skin for this because, well it's fantasy, I assume it is great for lever action rifle/pistol action with perhaps augmented arms being faster to shoot with also I assume it handles rifles better and helps with aiming.

The set is pretty much soft black with gold decors and trimmings/engraving whatever really, it's what my original idea was when this whole silly theme popped up in my mind.

Honestly what I had in my mind was this badass outlaw-like steampunk design a bit more based on the movie Wild Wild West's designs like what Will Smith wears in it too, looking rather elegant and dope imo. 🤷‍♀️

I think this set conveys my idea pretty well, obviously it's not one on one exactly what I imagined in my mind, but not like I could actually do that 😂

It's a bit of an expensive set to put together imo, but I LOVE it. If anyone interested in the whole set + dyes, I dunno throw me an ask or ask me in reblog whatever and I will put together it for anyone who wants to try to put it together or experiment with the set.

how does a person save up 300 gold

a clarification:

i can MAKE gold just fine

the issue is NOT SPENDING IT before i get to 300g

dailies, fractals, all my laurels go to selling the t6 mats i get with them, to the point i CAN’T craft legendaries bc i end up selling my mats so often purely for gold(another issue much like the gold one)

but dyes, gem conversions, and 25-50g weapon skins are the primary cause of spending the gold i make before i can save up to the 300g for the compendium

so, i reposit the question: how does a person save 300g

I actually have advice for this! Making gold isn’t a problem for me generally from raids, daily stuff, etc., but boy howdy, saving it is. The solution?

Whatever gold you’re trying to save - throw it in on a buy order of a Very Expensive item on the TP. It costs you nothing to place or cancel, and is anyone really going to sell you a Queen Bee Infusion for 100g? (And I mean if they somehow do, saving goal accomplished???) Now that gold’s out of site, out of mind!

to no one’s surprise I made a heavy armor Rhowan, condi berserker, and the most accurate version of her I’ve ever made! She’s so angry I’m in love! I’ve gone through the story thru PoF and she’s been a lot of fun to play, looking forward to doing Everything with her after this
