Maybe it was the fact that she only had a sixth grade education, but Max wrinkled her nose at that. “Gross. That why you wear the get-up? To hide your weirdly hairy body?”
Whatever the case, she wasn’t going to let her guard down. Not yet. She’d heard about this guy, this Spiderman. He was some self-acclaimed do-gooder, and she was the shifter that had cash from several stolen (and then dumped) wallets stuffed into her (also stolen) jeans.
ohmygod ‘ I’M NOT-- i’m not hairy ! ‘ his voice cracked slightly at the beginning due to the heightened volume of his yell; why did she have to hit below the belt like that? Thank god for the suit, otherwise he would’ve been beet red from the comment alone.
the lenses to his mask squinted and expanded in a quick suite, adjusting his weight onto the balls of his feet until he was able to pry himself off of the wall and land with a small grunt-- the sides of his thighs nearly grazed against the outer-rims of his hips from the crouching position he had taken. ‘ says the woman with the glow-sticks for eyes. ‘

now that he thinks about it, being aligned against the wall in such a way wasn’t exactly the best position to be asking such a question; irony at it’s finest.

Peter actually embedded an HFAC radio system within Karen’s parameters in his suit so he’s able to manually scan through different frequencies to pick up on Police Radio, Ambulance, Fire and Rescue etc whenever he’s patrolling the city. All it takes is a voice command and Karen is able to run through an algorithm and finds the most immediate one within the vicinity based entirely upon GPS or threat level.
he also does the less dangerous calls like, helping getting a cat out of a tree, or a car breaking down and someone needs help pushing it. He’s literally just a friendly neighborhood hero.
