You can also find SanSan content by searching the SanSan tag on tumblr. I do caution against this because the search will also bring up posts tagged "Anti-SanSan," which is full of some very grumpy people who say not so nice things. But have no fear! They usually stick to themselves for the most part.

As far as I am concerned, in the REAL version of the series (books!) Sandor Clegane is currently at the Quiet Isle, burying the dead as part of his own path to redemption. (Yes I buy into this theory, NOT the atrocious “ending” of the show.)

If you bought the 2012 ASOIAF calendar, illustrated by John Picacio, you might recall that October was the month for Sansan!
In retrospective, here’s John Picacio discussing the evolution of his Sansan illustration. From storyboards, using a real life model for Sandor, greyscale version, to the finished final color. Some things I thought were interesting:
- GRRM suggested that a Sansan illustration be included in the calendar
- Picacio loves Sansa’s hair because of the “Starry Night” quality that emerged unexpectedly from the composition.

And what better than the month of Halloween for a face like the Hound? It was a no-brainer that this artwork would be October’s. I look forward to seeing lots of scary, scarred Hounds roaming the streets on Halloween this fall.

Say what you want about the hound but hes good with kids. He delt with Jeffrey like a champ, treated sansa with nothing but kindness and protected the sjit out of her AND he tought Arya to pick her battles carefully. 10/10 best babysitter.

Hiii, I'm pretty new to the Sansan ship. I'm not a fan of the show couple because of Sandor there but I love how I imagine Sándor in the books and especially after seeing Rollo from Vikings as Sándor in some gif sets. I haven't read fics about them and I'm wondering if you could help me with some starter pack fanfics? I'm interested in Sansa escaping with him after Blackwater and the possible reunion of them in the books. Thank you so much for your help!
