I've been adjusting to my new job, learning new things, talking to lots of people and their dogs, and enjoying the sunny weather of late. How I missed regular drives on the freeway. Song: "Molasses" by Hiatus Kaiyote
My first day at my new job, in a new cafe, went smoothly. I haven't woken up so early in a while. It was nice to get a glimpse of the sunrise after a bit of rain.
This past weekend was a difficult one. Doing nothing for months after graduating was really hurting to the point that I began to think that there was nothing good coming for me, that I would never be happy, and that maybe being nothing could serve a better purpose. I hesitated on drawing about it, but I do want to remember that its a feeling I felt and that something good came after all. The day after my worst feeling day, I got a job interview and was finally hired somewhere.
My sister and I lay out in the sun when we can. There’s not much happening in my life at the moment.
My friend Angel made a FANTASTIC joke. Look, my humor is dumb and simple and it's the best way to make me laugh.
Went for a jog/walk the other day. I don’t run that often, but it felt really great to be moving.
