Student protestors are being stripped of their rights and beaten into submission. 100s of billions of military aid for three different theaters across the world. Cop cities and crime bills are being rolled out across the country. Above all, continued and unstopping support for genocide in Palestine.

I fail to see what you are trying to say because right now the options have been near immediate slide to dictatorship with MAGA republicans or a wobbly democrats, at least with democrats there is the FUCKING TIME to influence the direction that the party goes. A democracy is an ongoing project that you must build collectively, a deliberately messy thing that you must work to better and sometimes you don’t get a perfect option. Telling off people who picked the apple that would merely make them sick rather than the apple that would straight up kill them as if they were too dumb to realize that the apple was bad for them is a terrible way to get things done.

I do not wish for people to die, for people to be trampled down, for people to go without. I do not see these as concessions for “my guy” to get elected. What I do see is that of the two parties in power, there is one that absolutely does not tolerate any step out of line and one that can be bullied/coerced into doing what I think is morally right. I will always place my support where I think it can do the most good and right now it’s the democrats. They must be forced to the right thing, but at least they can be made to do good.
