Once upon a time there was Netflix, and it cost $8 per month to watch pretty much any movie ever made instantly. It made sense. Everybody had Netflix and life was good.
Then there was Hulu, and it seemed weird at first to have two streaming services. But basic Hulu was free and mostly streamed TV shows so it kind of made sense. Soon they charged a small fee for the convenience of streaming TV shows without ads, which also made sense.
Life was very good. People forgot that piracy even existed.
Then a few years later they added about 200 other streaming services, each one costing more than the last, and each stripping away "exclusive" content from the other services, and now there are UNSKIPPABLE COMMERCIALS and the fucking planet is on fire
Everyone holding Annabeth to an impossible Standard
And then there’s Percy

me, who’s known that for literal years:
pro-AI in the sense of "they taught a bread scanning computer to recognize cancer cells" etc etc
against AI in the sense of "we stole artwork from hundreds to thousands of artists, didn't credit them and didn't financially compensate them"
why is no one talking about the fact that bella’s shield ability comes from charlie?? when edward first hears him in midnight sun and says he “couldn’t hear exact words” in charlie’s thoughts, but just thought that charlie was just a slow thinker??? and compares bella to charlie??
everyone always wants to talk about how 104 year old edward fell in love with 17 year old bella, which is (arguably) not how it works depending on how you interpret the vampires’ mental age, but nobody ever wants to talk about how carlisle literally did actually know esme when she was younger. like he knew her as a girl and then later when he saved her she was like Omg That One Hot Doctor ??? objectively SO much worse.
Actually…. I don’t mind the Persephone and Hades thing Edward Cullen does in midnight sun. But I think it would be a lot better if when he sucks the venom from her, and tastes that first drop of pure blood, he realizes that he is Persephone, bound to Bella by blood and by heart (as he says, vampires never fall out of love). He stays with her for half a year, and then, in New Moon, when Edward leaves Forks, and Bella isn’t allowed to follow, trapped as Hades was, he leaves her for about 6 months as well. Forced to return, though, as he had that Bella’s blood, and is bound to her world forever.
i need to know emmett’s opinion on that new cocaine bear movie.
