Many survivors of sexual abuse are writing "Me too" on their Facebook pages in order to share the magnitude of this very real issue. Not everyone is comfortable sharing their stories publicly, however. This is a space for anyone who has felt sexually violated in any form to share their experiences anonymously, so the magnitude of the issue New Zealand has with sexual harassment, assault, abuse, can be acknowledged without harming those who share their stories. Here we can make our voices heard without feeling unsafe or judged. Nobody can reply or comment on your experience. No abusive messages will be published. Please submit your story and tick the anonymous button. If you are comfortable in sharing what city the story took place in or your age at the time, you are invited to do so. These stories have had some media interest and may be used to show the magnitude of this issue, and we ask for permission to share these stories. Of course, it will be requested than any details that could identify a situation be removed. Your safety, privacy and identity, despite this being anonymous, is top priority.
