EXO for Nature Republic 2017

Since Exo has sold out at Jasmil Stadium I’ve been seeing a lot of people say how ‘That’s not a big deal, they were handed their fame anyways.“

Really? Really?! In 2012 Exo-K were considered flops, to be SM’s first failure. Tao was heavily hated in the beginning, and Chen and Xiumin were in an entirely new country, barely being able to speak Chinese. And in 2013 the other 4 Chinese members having to come to a new country themselves and learn the language and culture. That must of been terrifying.

People hated Wolf. People started hating on Exo once Growl became huge. They gained so many sasaengs, creepy and disgusting people causing even more stress. Having to work so hard they went to the hospital. The shock when Kris left, and Suho having to stand on stage by himself to accept an award right after. Luhan being constantly sick from overworking, eventually having to leave also. A lot of fans left in 2014, saying Exo could never recover.

They came back with Exodus, having to work so hard, it was their best and most cohesive album yet. Jongdae put so much time into dancing, all of the members took time to prove on singing, especially their live vocals. That would never be easy, and I remember how long they promoted Call Me Baby, how much effort they pit into their live vocals during that time.

They come back with Lucky One and Monster, and it is my favorite album ever. Yet people still hated on them for trying something different, which is so sad. During this Yixing has to travel back and forth constantly, still with ot8 fans bashing on him.

To all of you who say Exo got a free ticket to fame, you couldn’t be more wrong. They have faced so many hardships, so many challenges. Yet they kept pushing and trying and growing. All of them having the mental strength to push through this and to grow is amazing. Yet with everything they have are triple million sellers. Their physical sales ate untouchable. They have sold out concert after concert, selling out Tokyo Dome 5 times.

Jasmil Stadium hasn’t been sold out in 17 years. And they sold out in 5 minutes. They are only the 2nd group to sell out at the stadium, only H.O.T has done it. And H.O.T. was HUGE back then. To achieve that in 5 years with all their obstacles is amazing.

All of you complaining, you would never be able to any of what they have done. Hiding behind anon and going to different Exo blogs or making passive aggressive tweets towards fans is cowardly. The members have worked so hard to get where they are, stop going after excited fans and find something more productive to do with your miserable lives.
