Letters

Day 14 is now done :). And it's another lil fluffy Marichat one-shot bc I love themmm <3. Lemme know what y'all think!

Marinette sat at her desk, a stack of colorful envelopes scattered in front of her. Each one bore Chat's distinctive handwriting and a playful drawing of him winking up at her. It had become a tradition between them—writing letters to each other as a way to express thoughts that they couldn't say out loud.

It had all started one rainy afternoon when Marinette found a small note tucked under her school books. It was from Chat, a simple "Hope this brightens your day, purrincess" scrawled across the paper. Inside, a tiny origami black cat grinned up at her.

He must have written it when he had come over the other night, though she couldn’t imagine when he had managed to find the time to do so. After all, they had spent most of that night just giggling and talking. Still, that didn’t stop Marinette from clutching the letter to her chest happily.

From that day on, they began exchanging notes regularly. At first, it was light-hearted banter and small encouragement after extremely time-consuming and exhausting exams. Chat would leave letters hidden in the most unexpected places—under her sketchbook, inside her locker (which she still couldn’t figure out how he got into), and one had even been attached to a croissant from the bakery.

Roses

I had a really fun time writing this one haha. I hope you like it too <3. I looovee getting to write a bit of post-reveal, pre-relationship. Lemme know what you think <3

Chat softly purred as Marinette ran her fingers through his hair. He cuddled up even closer to her in the chaise that they were curled up in. A movie was softly playing in the background on her laptop, but he was almost certain that neither of them was paying much attention to it.

Right here, right now was how he wanted to spend the rest of his days. Passing the day away in his lady’s lap. The only thing that would have made everything better was if they had been dating. But that was over now.

Now that they both knew each other’s identities and, honestly, Chat was surprised at how un surprised he had been when Ladybug had detransformed in front of him into Marinette. It just fit so well. Like a puzzle piece sliding into his thoughts, it made absolute sense that they were the same person. And it had made sense on why she had dismissed him so many times. She was so far out of his league that it wasn’t even funny.

Obsessed with the x files episodes where like someone will go missing and they’ll go to the victim’s last known location and see like a normal ant crawling around and mulder will go “I think the victim was kidnapped by two hundred ants disguised as a human being who took the victim because they need to digest organic matter in order to have the strength to build a giant anthill” and scully will go “that’s insane” but mulder will literally be right beat for beat

x files is SOOO funny it's the only fanbase i know where almost all of the gay fans are begging for a heterosexual relationship to be blatantly canon and the straight man writing the show refuses to let it happen

Promises

A lil bit of Marichat kisses for today's prompt bc I loveee them hehehe. I hope you all do as well! Lemme know what you think <3

Marinette leaned against the railing of her balcony, gazing up at the starry night sky. It was one of those rare peaceful moments in Paris, free from akuma attacks and the constant rush of daily life. She sighed contentedly, her thoughts drifting to Chat.

As if on cue, a familiar voice sounded from below. "Princess, are you up there?"

Marinette grinned and leaned over the edge to see Chat, his green eyes sparkling in the moonlight. He was standing at the entrance to the bakery, beaming up at her. "Chaton! What brings you here tonight?"

He extended his baton and leaped gracefully up onto her balcony, his tail swishing behind him. "I just thought I'd drop by. Crime rate's down, and I remembered our promise."

✨Smooch✨

On the cheek :/

Aahhhh I doubt I see I’ll see the day Yor grows and kisses Loid with out accidentally killing him. I guess all I can do is draw it.

Gaud i love drawing open ending illustrations. I love thinking of all the possibilities the moment and what could happen after. I think one of the goals I want for myself is to draw more drawing that feel like a moment in time. That the background and characters have a story behind them. Idk if that makes sense.

Hide Place

And here is my final chapter of the day :). I hope you all like it <3. If you did, please lemme know what you think! I'll be back tomorrow with another chapter :)

Marinette giggled as she peeked around the corner, trying to spot Chat Noir before he found her and darted off to a new hiding spot. They had decided to play hide and seek in her room, a playful diversion from the usual akuma battles. For once, the tension and stress of Monarch was slowly melting away, making her feel happy and safe for the first time in a while. And, of course, it was her partner who had caused it.

"Where are you hiding, mon minou?" Marinette called out, her eyes scanning every nook and cranny.

From somewhere behind her chaise, Chat’s voice echoed, "You'll have to try harder than that, purrincess!"

But, just before he could use his superhero speed and dart off again, Marinette quickly ducked down, grinning as she spotted his familiar, wide green eyes. “Found you! Now it’s my turn to hide!”

Chat chuckled as Marinette reached out and tagged him, her grin infectious. "Well played, purrincess. But good luck hiding from the master of shadows!"

“The master of shadows?” she scoffed, shaking her head. A teasing smile spread across her lips. “The master of shadows was the one who just gave up his hiding spot by talking.”

“You better get hiding... all this talk and I might tag you before you even got a chance to hide.” He smirked down at her.

With a dramatic gasp, Marinette darted off to find her hiding spot, her laughter trailing behind her. As she scurried off to find a spot, Marinette's heart felt lighter than it had in days. Playing with Chat like this, without the weight of saving the city on their shoulders, was a precious escape. She darted behind her chest, stifling her giggles as she heard his footsteps approaching.

The sound of Chat's playful banter and the rustle of her clothes mixed with the soft hum of the city outside, creating a bubble of warmth and joy around her. Marinette peeked around the chest she was hiding behind, her eyes sparkling with excitement. This simple game brought back memories of carefree childhood days before she had to juggle being a hero and a student.

Chat quickly spotted her though, and she couldn't quite contain her laughter. "Gotcha!" he exclaimed, a grin spreading across his face.

Marinette stood up, brushing imaginary dust off her clothes with a playful smile. "You're getting better at this, Chaton. But don't get too confident. I'll find the perfect hiding spot next time! I positively demand a rematch!"

Chat grinned down at her, extending a hand for her to shake. "Rematch it is, purrincess. But first, let's enjoy this moment of peace and fun."

Grinning at him, she shook his outstretched hand.

They settled on her chaise, enjoying a moment of camaraderie and laughter. They cuddled together, still giggling and exchanging playful banter. In that small game of hide and seek, Marinette found not just a hiding spot but also a brief escape from the chaos of their heroic lives, thanks to her mischievous partner. The weight of their responsibilities melted away, leaving only the joy of friendship and the thrill of a simple game of hide and seek in Marinette's cozy hideaway.
