Why does Sailom have to stay here with us, grandma? [...] I want Sailom to stay over to ensure he has enough time to tutor you effectively.

Colors in Ep. 5 of Dangerous Romance

Dangerous Romance is going to carry this wind + windmill theme to its grave, and I live for it because it's making it all so queer.

Kanghan is coded blue, and Sailom is coded red, so Sailom drowning in blue this episode since he is living in Kanghan's house is beautiful.

And him eagerly wearing blue while Kanghan was pushed into wearing red (and pink <- I'll get to it!) even though he wasn't comfortable outside of his norm is sending me because = the color exchange

So since Kanghan is coded blue, him giving the blue lock to Sailom to put on the fence

Then giving Pimfah the red lock when Sailom is coded as red,

Yet trying to attached his lock to the red one is really hitting me in all the right places because it shows the real love triangle.

Sailom likes Kanghan (which is why he put up the blue lock). Pimfah likes Sailom (which is why she put up the red lock). And Kanghan wanted to attach his lock to Pimfah's without realizing he actually wants Sailom (which is the red color).

And if you want to take it a step further . . .

Kanghan is blue, and Pimfah is pink.

Even though she was trying to attach her lock to Sailom because it was Kang's color, doesn't this feel a little on the nose for being locked in by heteronormativity?

Buck the norm, you two.

Be queer about it.

Be very queer about it.

Like mix red and blue together to make purple kind of queer.

Especially after you stare at your tutor's lips.

Yeah, like that!

God, I love product placements.
