A mini-bang is a scaled down version of a Big Bang! Where writers come up with ideas aligned with a theme (in this case, Trans Good Omens) and write a piece that artists will then base their work on. Writers will submit summaries of their works at the midway point, then artists can choose which ideas speak to them most! Once everyone is paired and the pieces are finished, posting begins!
This event was made with the explicit purpose of garnering more fanworks of trans Good Omens characters ranging from nonbinary folks, to trans women, to trans men, and every shade in between!
The theme is Trans Good Omens, and this interest check will be open until the 1st of March.

The Zine Looks Like a Go, Keep an Eye on This Space
We're getting a great response from our interest check. Keep an eye out for applications October 1st! If you haven't filled out our interest check and still want to, you can find it here:
Q: Who is going to be in the zine? A: Everybody! This zine is dedicated to the supporting cast of Good Omens, whether they are humans, demons, or angels. Crowley and Aziraphale can show up but only as minor characters, and not as the major ones. There are plenty of places to people who want to read more about them, this zine is the place to show our love for all the other characters.
Q: Which medium? A: All of them! Book, Show, Musical or Radio version – we love them all.
Q: What is the rating and word count of the zine? A: All the fic/art will be SFW, and the word count up to 2.5K.
Q: What is the time frame for the zine? A: Interest check is open until the first of October (HERE), and then the official contributor applications will open. The application will remain open until the 15th of October, so you’ll have approximately 2 weeks to get your apps in. Nov. 1: Mods contact all applicants, both those accepted and those not accepted (if there are any), and offer places in the Zine and access to Zine Discord to chosen contributors. Nov. 1–Feb. 28: Art/Fic creation period, with two monthly check-ins in Dec. and Jan. and final drafts due Feb. 28 Zine creation will likely take 1-2 months, thanks in advance to our wonderful Graphic Design and Art mods. During this time, we will also move forward with the pre-sales and promotion period. Other specific dates re: sales periods and final Zine delivery are TBD.
Q: How many contributors will be accepted? A: As a purely-digital Zine, we do have more room for contributors than we would if we were doing a print Zine, but whether we can take everyone depends on the number of applications we receive. Artists typically have better chances at being accepted than writers, but we’ll be doing our best to include as many people as possible.

Cost is $5 or more donation to any of the FTH organizations for 2023! Please make sure that the donation amount is legible & that you redact your personal info. An email address is required so we can send you the link to the book!

Do It With Style Events is proud to announce our latest Good Omens Fandom event: Extraordinary Amounts of Cake!
We all love indulging in our favorite flavors of fanworks. Meet cutes! Hurt comfort! Only one bed! No matter how many times we see them, we’re coming back for MORE CAKE!
In this event, creators will be given a “recipe” of tropes to build into a Good Omens fanfic, fanart, or other work. Interpret yours however you like! We want to see your take on the idea, as unique or traditional as you wish. At least one person will have exactly the same recipe, but that’s ok—more cake for everyone!
