She also grew up in the IRA and killed her first victim at age 12. She was abused mentally, physically and emotionally. She escaped with only her clothes and her notepads that she writes her stories in. After a couple of years being homeless, she finally got a big break. Her first book got published and made her millions. She got herself a nice cottage out in the countryside and a mansion was built about six miles away from the cottage so whenever she wanted she can go to the cottage. She has PTSD and has nightmares of her killing the victims over and over and she wakes up screaming. She goes to church every Sunday like clockwork to pray for forgiveness for her killing those innocent people that were accused as traitors in the ranks. She became friends with Sherlock Holmes when he finds her in the church that had a murder in their graveyard. They started talking and to Barbara, they're friends, but to Sherlock, she's just an interesting person to talk to because he couldn't deduce her. Barbara hides behind a smile and her witty humor.
