I posted this announcement on the official Moon Guard forums but I guess not everyone reads those so I thought I’d post this here as well.

DiceMaster is a roleplaying addon of my own creation, with much help (seriously, I can’t thank you all enough) from the members of my guild and everyone who helped me conceptualise, design, and refine the addon into what it is today. It was a labour of love months in the making- a lot of tweaking, experimenting, frustration, and finally success. The primary reason for its former exclusivity– the reason for its entire existence– was because the addon was first made to fit the specific needs of the roleplay and combat systems used by our guild. It was made for the pleasure and benefit of the League of Lordaeron, with no external audience considered beyond our in-guild community. As such, parameters were put into place to protect it. As it grew, I decided to host our addon on Curse so that our guild members could more easily update new versions via the Curse Client.

However, due to the influx of interest by other communities beyond our own, the League of Lordaeron and I would now like to offer this addon to the community for use in good faith. The restrictions preventing other guilds from using the addon have been removed in this most recent update, but please remain aware that we will not be taking requests to specifically tailor the addon for other uses or guilds. We hope you enjoy the addon as much as our guild has and encourage you to develop creative, fun ways to use DiceMaster in your own communities! Please submit any of your direct questions, comments, suggestions, bug reports, or concerns about DiceMaster to me here or on Curse.

About DiceMaster

DiceMaster allows players to roll with more complex rpg dice than the game provides, use a custom health and resource bar to track unique combat systems, and design a set of character-specific traits. Originally designed to specifically suit the needs of combat systems used by the League of Lordaeron, DiceMaster gradually grew in functionality over time and ever since its move to Curse.com, the unexpected interest of the larger roleplaying community has prompted our team to release an unrestricted version of the addon for public use.

The primary goal of DiceMaster is to improve and simplify the use of “combat systems” in the roleplay community. Character traits allow players to customise the identity of their character with a set of unique abilities that reflect their skill (or lack thereof) in a combat environment. DiceMaster also has its own dice rolling system (which piggybacks off of the default /roll system to prevent abuse) allowing players to modify the quantity, number of sides, and modifier of custom dice using the XDY+Z notation.

DiceMaster uses the Mary Sue Protocol, also used by such roleplay addons as MyRoleplay, Total RP 3, and XRP, to replace players’ in-game name with their custom name in printed dice roll messages and within the addon’s UI.

Emotions

Sensitivity Level 7

While an aloof species with strangers they often crave the acceptance and love of their mates. Any unwarranted scolding will be scoffed off but usually burns quite deep.

Solitary Level 5

While completely content on their own before they are driven for a mate, once having set eyes on a mate they will pine and have even been known to pass on if without them too long. Most stay with parents until suitable mate is found.

Distribution

The Tovae no longer have their own home world due to it’s destruction by something they call ‘the sundering’ that tore through the land and destroyed all food and life. The species is a leaper, or possessing the ability to world travel, and therefore have traveled to many different worlds and timelines to survive.

Diet

Tovae, like most draconic species are, as a rule, almost entirely carnivorous consuming almost any prey they can catch including insects, crustaceans, arachnids, myriapods, mollusks, fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals. Most species feed on invertebrates or carrion as juveniles and shift to feeding on vertebrates as adults. While they are known to consume fruits and vegetables, they species need a diet consisting of at least 70% protein, 20% crude fat and the rest being roughage for fibres. While Tovae have been known to eat larger prey including deer and moose, this is usually during breeding season on a hunt with a mate. Due to the anatomy of a Tovae’s jaw having canines, incisors and the males having curled bottom tusks with no molars they can only eat whatever they can tear off and swallow whole. Therefore the species is more likely to favour things they can catch and swallow whole.

Biology

Tovae maintain large territories for hunting. The active and aggressive nature of the Tovae has led to the consensus is that they have the highest standard metabolic rates of all extant reptilian monsters.

Having long limbs, their physical anatomy is similar to many other in their anthropomorphic form. Like some mammalian monsters having a straightened spine, opposable thumb with three phalanges and flat feet with two large clawed toes they often use their long draconic tail for balance while the two fox like tails are simply for display. Tovae are cold blooded but due to their affinity with electricity will often sunbathe and charge their body up for warmth, collecting in both the horns and within the hair as static electricity.

Coming in a variety of colours; Tovae are born in more subtle tan and greys and after their first molt begin to display their adult colours. Albinos in this species are rare and only one has ever been recorded, being infertile and more than likely due to being a twin.

They have long translucent coloured horns which are used to store energy or electricity that when fully charged can be enough to kill anything touching them and stun anything in a five yard radius.These horns are the same colour as their orbs and also reflect the colour of their electricity and storm magic. Gender differences include thick curved tusks on males that crane over the top lip, long whisker like barbs and a beard of hair on their chin. An amusing trait being the almost heart-shaped nose, which is wider and more arrow shaped on a male.

All Tovae are born with 5 energy orbs which appear when in battle or in display, which have a liquid in them that can be used for healing. Once used or destroyed they do not regenerate.

Their moods are easily seen from their eyes which change colour depending on their mood. What colour it changes for each mood is dependent on the original eye colour.

In their dragon form they retain many of the same features, though gaining a scaled face, a mane of static charged hair they trails their spine to just past the base of their tail. Their body has arrow and vertically pointing ventral scales with tufts of fur on their tail tip, jaws,  and elbows. They feature orbs on their foreheads with the males sporting two as well as along on the base of their tail and beard. Males have longer horns. Their ears are long and almost like that of a fence fox with a soft, curl of hair like that of a cloud on the tip. Their bodies in both forms is covered in a soft down of hair that can range from a fuzz to a full coat of fur depending on the dragon. Studies have been shown that the Tovae are partially venomous with their bites causing localized swelling similar to a large bee sting and sometimes more severe reactions to those allergic, and can on occasion be known to cause necrotic tissue damage.

Breeding

Tovae are oviparous though are only known to lay between 1-3 eggs, though rarely more than one. These eggs are actually energy orbs and form the baby from the magic within. Hatched, Tovae chicklets are raised until they reach their first heat (Which comes once mature at the age of four) and will stay with their parents until a mate is found.

Tovae have one soft heat each month where they are more hormonal than usual and often quick to brawl or fight and one heavy breeding heat every six months. During this time they will seek out a mate and display and kill potential rivals. Both females and males are known to do this behaviour depending on if they consider themselves the alpha of their kind. Some have been known to kill their mates during a fight for dominance.

Fights can last for days, and often once a fight is won either by submission or death the victor claims a piece of the loser as a trophy and proof of victory. This is usually but not inclusive of teeth, hair, horns, bones, pelt and tails.

Languages

They can communicate in most languages, picking them up easily as needed to survive. Their native language is similar to some indo-asiatic languages, though to many people it sounds a lot like clicking and hissing. There are few phrases known as the Tovae are more than likely to communicate with body language before speaking.

Creating your own Tovae

Mostly anything goes with Tovae. While they are certainly inspired by eastern mythology in their creation they are very adaptive and tend to dress and style for wherever they have established their territory.

Names can be anything, though often again a more indo-asian feel is common. A good place to take inspiration from is chinese, japanese, korean, malaysian, thai, etc…

Because of their already aggressive nature Tovae are often seen with scars, which they often display proudly and often with a story. Some even have scars simply for decoration though it is less common. Tovae often tend to have jewelry that includes bones, teeth and horns, usually from battles won during breeding season or protecting territory. This can be from any animal.

* No albinos; that is Shao’s gig. While primarily white is allowed please try to have some colours and markings. As well, white with pink hints and white/blue eyes is also restricted.

a few days ago this 18 year old guy named julien clement wore a shirt that says “IF YOU ARE GAY DON’T APPROACH ME I’LL KILL YOU” in ottawa, the capital of canada, my hometown. he literally wants to murder gay people in cold blood.

julien clement and yan miller have openly stated they feel no remorse for wearing these shirts and have a homophobic gang called ATG which has around 20 members. 

as someone who’s been struggling really hard to live openly as queer/bisexual, this terrifies me to my core. i don’t want to be scared for my life when i go to visit my friends and family.  

i’m not saying dox them but please spread this around because canadian stuff really never gets much attention on tumblr, and these guys are potentially dangerous!!

As most of you are likely aware now, I’ve had this ghost account for a while. It was a sort of, social experiment to prove to you all, that I am not what you think I am. You do not hate me, as a person, you hate the idea behind the person you have been told that I am… that even I believed I was at one point.

I still have hope that this can all be put behind us, but I won’t hold my breath.

I have fought, I have held strong, I have won back friends thought lost, with my honesty, loyalty, and compassion.

I beg you all.

Just look a little deeper into what I’ve actually done.

It’s not me you hate, it’s the idea of who you think I am.

And with that, and the exposure I’ve opened myself too again, I hope that you all whom read this find the truth.

Yeah. I will keep that in mind when I maj3 beasties with the serial rapist and murderer down the road and invite him to play bridge with my child trafficking buddy.

I mean they’re great people inside. Never hurt me so why care, right?

Difference here, Dwooz’ being that we aren’t just living on the shit you did in the past. We’re acting on the things you did while friends with us and continue to do even now.

You need serious psychological help. Go get it.

When I did that battle sprite in MS paint, I did it out of the love I had for you all. When I made my undersail game I made it with every last ounce of love I had. I proved to you all with this blog that it’s not me you hate. Why can’t you see through the lies you were told about me?

I’m not going by lies. I’m going by what I saw and witnessed. I’m not talking about the shit that happened before we met you. I’m talking about stealing music and claiming it under our name. You can’t say that didn’t happen because it’s proof. But let’s get down to the nitty on this. My issue us with how you hurt Bluesy. And don’t even try to bullshit you didn’t. You know his past, you knew his insecurities and you exploited them so you could use him like a fucking playtoy.

I love that kid and it makes me sick when you do things to hurt him. All your bullshit experiments. You are just addicted to drama and hurting people. Katy might forget that when she stopped talking to you that you pretty much cloned her headmates and made your own undersail. I also remember how pissed she was. But she’s been under your spell for so long I said even when you first left that she would go back to you… that she’ll need to get hurt by you over and over until she sees what people were warning.

I don’t usually reply because I genuinely don’t give a toss about you or your drama. But I just had to throw my two cents in about ‘give us a chance, we aren’t bad!’

All I can think about is how you remind he of Sadam Hussain in South Park telling Satan ‘I’ve changed!“

((Oh, you reeeeally shouldn’t have done this right now. I was willing to keep quiet while I finished my projects, and you decided to wait until I had more time to expose you for what you’re doing and have done.

SO I was at church this morning when one of the members of Studiotale decided to show me these screenshots.

I have been running myself ragged trying to get this project done AND still hold my WoW events, through sweat, cramps, and blood. I’ve been emotional, physically unstable because of new medication and YOU have the gall to try to claim I have the time to be sending anons to YOU? My fans matter MUCH more to me than you do.

Okay, let’s break this down.

BOY it’s sure funny that you basically tried to ignore the fact I existed on your blog for months. You never did like me the day I started calling you out everytime you tried to pull a manipulation tactic on me. You tried to pretend I didn’t exist and instead, always addressed me as Error. Never my real name.

I had been getting anons, as well as many others in the group, trying to gaslight us. Now, I see these as a joke.

So let’s take a look at these

Anon 1: Okay, one, first off, I AM the founding member of Studiotale. This isn’t me bragging or anything. I was literally the first person to create Studiotale. If I consider anyone else a founding member of Studiotale? It’s anyone who was apart of the Studiotale skype chat before we held the cruise. Because Studiotale had been securely established enough to hold events. That leaves me, Cymun, Voidmun, Yanmun, Inkmun, and Gmun.

Two, how would you know who was removed from Studiotale? This isn’t public knowledge.

Three. I removed them because whether they wanted to admit it or not, they were a danger to Studiotale. The moment they stared talking to Anna, the anonymous messages of harassment increased. When no one in Studiotale or the blog even knew about the contact until a week later. I removed them because by trying to be friends with someone who has caused so much pain to their family, they told us we deserved to feel the abuse and stress you have caused.

Four, The reason I don’t like you, let’s see, may be because you manipulated our members, forced them to do things they didn’t want, you made other friends feel outcasted, you not only stole from us but you stole from other people’s work, claiming you made gifts for us, but you also sexually harassed, gaslighted, and tried to trigger my son. And unlike my sister, I’m not so easy to forget.

Anon 2: BOY that sounds like something a person would say when they don’t want to be tracked even when I have blatant proof to you admitting ON YOUR BLOG of you sending an anon ask under the same IP, phone model, and location, as the other harassment messages we’ve gotten. Also, what did tractors ever do to you?

Now let’s go back to the supposed anon you claim I wrote:

- I neeeever say lmao. The abbreviation annoys me as much as rofl.

- The only time I use sweetheart is when I say “Oh, they’re a total sweetheart!” As if they’re a totally sweet person and I love them. You’re about as sweet as vinegar

- Okay, just because I live in Texas, doesn’t mean I say “ain’t”.

- I’ve never used staggering as an adjective moreso than a verb. Though the stupidity that you think this is how I type really is staggering.

- PUNCTUATION AND SHIFT BUTTON, OMFG. I ALWAYS hated how you typed, even when you were in Studiotale, I bet some members remember me subtly complaining it irritated me but I was nice and didn’t say anything.. I hated your neglect of punctuation and the shift button. CAPITALIZE YOUR LETTERS.

-Now that mention of rape is funny. Why would I suddenly mention it? I never got any anons talking about rape. But…G’s blog did

I wasn’t the one who wrote this anon, so I know I’m innocent in the eyes of God in that aspect. So that leaves you. So why would I mention rape? Because you mentioned rape but forgot you sent that message to G. There was no guarantee I would’ve seen that message. He never posted it up so no one else would. Except the person who wrote it and who wrote this message. But you KNEW there was a slight possibility I could’ve seen it. When only one person would know about it. And this is only days after I shut down anons on this page

You have the gall to say that no one cares about the rape you committed. But you know what you never had the balls to do? Come clean. You only ever admitted a message was yours when you were trying to be “cute and friendly” and like the others, I tracked it from the same phone. “Oh, but Statcounter isn’t right!” Yeah, that’s why this phone model has also appeared on the awareness blogs and your other victim’s blog for several months.
