He raised an eyebrow as she leaned in and leaned back a little himself. “I uh, thanks, mate. I guess.” He smiled slightly.

“Roadhog? He uh… Well, we met when oi was lookin’ for someone to work with. He wa’ hired at first but then we dropped that act and just worked together ‘normally’.” Jamie said with a shrug. This was true; they came to an agreement that they would work together as friends, and split anything they find between eachother.

Damn. She was creepy! But it was so hard not to fangirl

So.Fricking.Hard. A mental slap for that.

“Yea, yea, no problem, just saying.”

“Oh man, I can’t wait to meet him, I bet he is a rad dude! It must be super cool to work with your friend right? Double joy I bet! To bad all for my girl friends have no interest mechanics. But I don’t blame ‘em, you have to have heart for that. Raw skills are important too, but in my opinion, you’ll be succesful in this industry only if you pour your soul into those vehicles.”

She could come off as a bit loony, then again, it was how she honestly feltabout it. And Cynet was not going to lie, or keep her belief to herself! Besides, he seemed to be passionate about his work too! He should understand her!

He chuckled, looking down at her. Was she always this exitable? "Oi bet ya they'd be interested if they tried." He shrugged.

Jamie leaned back against the wall again. He was enjoying her company. Finally, someone who was talkative like him was there to keep him company. Not that Roadhog wasn't good company, he was just a little quiet at times.

The Not-So-Nice Sparks

A knowing smile crossed Kat’s face, and she couldn’t stop the soft laugh from coming out. Of course he’d be condemned to not blowing anything up. Sounded like he had been chewed out by Mercy big time.

“Well, Junker, don’t just stand there, come join me. You’re making me feel awkward just standing there while I do my yoga. It’s quite relaxing, I’m sure you could benefit from it.” She turned to wiggle her eyebrow at the Junker, lips pulled in a smirk.

He hesitated for a few seconds before stepping forwards. "Join ya? Oi'm no good at that sorta stuff." Jamie muttered, his arms folded across his chest. Holding back a laugh, he took a few steps closer. "Oi don' think anythin' will work with these things." He protested. The prosthetics weren't that flexable, afterall.

Jamie looked up from his work, a small frown on his face. “Wha’?” It took him a few seconds before he realised what had been said, and he looked down, continuing to work on his prosthetic leg. “Oi’m not tha’ tired.” He said with a shrug. This was clearly a lie, as several now empty cups now littered the desk (which probably used to contain coffee) and dark circles showed under his eyes.

“So tell me how did you get into tinkering with explosives.” Sasha said watching the male work on his arm. “did you always like them or was it just something that you got interested in after the omnic crisis.” Sasha said as she picked a pencil up off the floor and rolled it thumb and index finger

“I used to live in junkertown, so Oi kinda grew up with it.” He said, glancing at her quickly. “Oi started to use ‘em after oi started to fight.” Jamie added with a shrug, switching tools. “Where are ya from?”

“I used to be from a small cold spot in Canada. I moved around far too much to get to know the spot so yeah.” Sasha said with a purr.

Jamie nodded, setting down the tool. He flaxed his fingers, making sure nothing else had broken. “Sounds loike ya had alotta adventures.” He smiled slightly.

“Yeah, some fun, some not so fun.” Sasha said as she rolled onto her back. She had laid claim to the others bed but he wasn’t using it so he didn’t mind. “Tell me about some of the things you did…I wanna know all about the cool stuff….I’m sure your work with explosions created a lot of good stories.”

He chuckled quietly, not saying anything about her using his bed. He didn’t mind. “Well, Oi’m one of the most wanted criminals in Australia. One time we broke into a huge bank. We’ve ran for hours on end from the authorites.” He paused for a few seconds, picking up a tool. “Then obviouly there are the toimes when Oi lost a limb.” Jamie added with a shrug.

“how are you still alive?” Sasha asked looking over at the male with a worried glance. “Love you must have an angel on your shoulder watching over you.”

“Roadhog has saved me a good few times, and Oi guess Oi’m just lucky.” He shrugged, a smirk tugging at his features. “Atleast Oi still have two limbs left.”

“You’re really lucky, with your life style you could end up blowing yourself up.” Sasha said as she sat up on his bed. “So, I got to ask, how did you even get the name Junkrat? I get the whole junk part, you’re a junker but rat……Your face don’t have that ratty appearance to it…..or at least not much of one.”

Jamie giggled, leaning back. "Junkrat? Oi guess it's just because Oi used to- and still do- search fer parts in the trash." He looked away, hiding his blush that was caused by her last comment.

Tsking, Kat continued, gracefully dropping into a very complex yoga pose. As long as he didn’t try anything, she could tolerate him.

“Well, my name is Kat, not Omnic. You may call me Kat or Spark, either one is fine with me.” She let out a relaxed huff, closing her eyes. Stretching was a lot more peaceful without Junkers, but oddly enough the company wasn’t completely hated.

She peeked an eye open, smirking the slightest bit, “Nothing better to do? Don’t you have things to blow up, Liebling?”

Jamie gave her a small nod, still staring at his arm. He didn't have a reason to stay there, but there wasn't a reason for him to leave. "Junkrat. But Oi'm guessing you already knew that." He said bluntly, glancing at her.

"Nah, Oi'm not allowed to blow anythin' up in the base anymore." Jamison smirked, remembering how he had almost blown off his other leg and the lectures he recieved from 76, Mercy and even Roadhog.

The Not-So-Nice Sparks

@australianjunker <3 for you lovely ~~~

“Call me Omnic one more time, and see what happens, Junker. I am an Android!!” Kat’s voice was laced with annoyance as she trained, unable to escape the Junker known as Junkrat, or Jamison(Roady called him Jami apparently). It had been peaceful before the Junker came into the new HQ’s gym, shocking Kat and instantly annoying her.

She hated being called an Omnic.

Pausing in her yoga, she managed a unamused glare. “Don’t you have something better to do then bother me? We barely know each other, go insult someone else.”

She hated being rude, especially to someone she barely knew, but he fucked up with the name calling. She was positive he didn’t even know her name, having only met her once on the battlefield. The Android, cloaked in her human camouflage, scowled and stopped to look at Junkrat.

Finally, she sighed, “Can I help you…?”

Jamie didn't want to be rude to this omn- person, android or whatever they were. But he hated omnics with a passion, and he failed to control himself. "How'd Oi know that you're not an omnic?" He growled back, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed.

"For yer information I don' have anything better to do." He said with a shrug. "And ya can't tell me what to do." Jamie snarled. He ignored her last question as he stood fiddeling with his prosthetic arm.

Sasha looked at the male then shook her head. “Will you go to sleep after you finish what your working on?” Sasha asked growing a little concerned for the other. She didn’t know him but he seemed to enjoy her presence since he allowed her to stay with him. “I’ll watch out for you if you need me too.”

He glanced back at her for a second. “I-… Foine. Why are ya so conserned, anyway?” Jamie didn’t mind the company, seeing as he had been in his room for hours on end. “Oi’ll get enough sleep, don’t worry yourself.” He muttered.

Sasha looked at the male then huffed. “I’m concerned because the last person I was supposed to watch over died because they didn’t rest, they got sloppy and one day they went out and bang……” Sasha said then chuckled when he told her he’d get enough rest. “you better not be telling lies to me or I’ll come over there and kick your ass.”

He leaned back in the chair, placing the tools onto the table. “Oi’m not gonna get sloppy, mate.” Jamie said with a frown. “Hey! Oi’ll get enough sleep.” He tried to argue back, looking at her.

Sasha pulled his chair over to her and placed an arm around him almost like she was going to give him a choke hold but it was far to gentle, it turned out the demon was cuddling into the male not caring if he covered her in soot. “Promise you won’t get sloppy?”

Jamie froze as she wrapped an arm around him. “I uh… Oi promise.” He shifted awkwardly in his seat. “What’s your name? Ya never said.” He asked, looking at her with a slightly confused expression.

“Sasha.” She said then looked up at the male then blushed a bit seeing that he wasn’t just cute but quite handsome. “How about you, whats your name.”

“Junkrat. But ya can call me Jamie if ya loike.” He said, glancing at her with a smile before picking up the tool again and starting to fiddle with his prosthetic arm.

Sasha smiled then watched the male. “I like Jamie better than junkrat, you’re too handsome to be called a rat.” Sasha said with a blush. Sure he was covered in soot but the color of his eyes were more defined with the soot on his face. it was almost like the soot gave him more personality.

He blushed, smiling slightly. Jamie averted his eyes and stared at his arm, thankful the the soot on his face would (hopefully) cover the blush. He wasn't used to being so close to someone, never mind getting compliments from them. "I uh... Thank you, mate."
