So, I’ve been seeing this #sixfanarts things going around on Tumblr, and I decided to jump on the bandwagon. So here’s fan art of six characters that really, really like.
In order, from top left to bottom right.
1. Syaoran Li (Cardcaptor Sakura): The best boy on the list, Syaoran Li is strong willed, brave and above all, devoted to those he loves. He is the love interest of the main character Sakura Kinamoto, and the two are my favorite anime couple. Syaoran loves Sakura so much, he would do anything for her, always want to make her happy, and every moment they share on screen is adorable. The bear he holds in his hands is one that Sakura made for him when he had to return to his home in Hong Kong, which he named “Sakura”.
2. Shirayuki (Snow White with the Red Hair): Shirayuki is one of the best female protagonists anime has ever put out. She’s a Court Herbalist of the Kingdom of Clarines and hella skilled at her job as a doctor. A bright spark of determination, compassion and fierce courage lie within her heart, which make her very likeable as a character. Plus, the romance between her and Zen, the prince of Clarines, is so beautiful and wholesome.
3. Trevor Belmont (Castlevania): The ragged and discriminated member of the Belmont family, a dynasty of warriors sworn to protect the world from demonic threats. They were dishonored by the church for their methods and excommunicated, leaving Trevor the last of his lineage. He was first seen as a drunk, messy and cold individual, but on his journey to defeat Dracula, he regained his will to protect others and found happiness with the speaker magician Sypha and the half-vampire Alucard. Trevor was probably the hardest to draw on this list due to his detailed facial features.
4. Michiru (BNA - Brand New Animal): In a world where humans and half-animal humans called "beastmen" exist, Michiru finds herself unexpectedly cursed as a half-tanooki, causing her to flee to Anima City, where beastmen can thrive and be themselves. She’s a tough spitfire girl full of optimism and hope, not only to free herself of her curse, but that one day humans and beastmen can live in harmony. Her design is very cute, which is the main reason she’s one of my favorites.
5. Marshal (Animal Crossing): The only one on this list with a full body view, as he is quite tiny. Probably Animal Crossing’s most popular character. Since his debut in New Leaf, he’s become so beloved that players will pay millions of bells just to have him transferred to their village. Despite his facials and smug personality, he’s actually very kind, endearing and relatable as a character. His design is so adorable as well, as his namesake is that of a fluffy marshmallow.
6. Amber (Genshin Impact): The energetic and sweet Outrider of the Knights of Favonius. In the world of Genshin Impact, she aids the main traveler in their quest to save their captured sibling, as it is the duty of the knights to help those in need. She is quite skilled with a bow and has some clever tricks up her sleeve in battle. She never gives up, and always tries to be polite, making her quite a fan favorite, plus her design is just adorable.
My beautiful wife made this after seeing the episode “Fragments”, she says she loves this form of Steven, design-wise, not his crazed-state of mind.

Sonia trains hard to be the warrior she was destined to be. Although she kinda gets distracted by her books, usually revolving around researching monsters. In this case, she’s trying to figure out the best strategy to avoid those god damn Medusa Heads and not get turned into stone again.

In celebration of the 3rd Season of Netflix’s Castlevania, I thought I would unveil a new OC of mine.
Name: Sonia Belmont
Age: 22
Height: 5’4"
Day of Birth: May 12, 3014
Sign: Taurus
Sonia is the newest Belmont, born in the early 31st century, over 1000 years after Dracula’s final defeat. She the daughter of Darius and Grace Belmont and the current owner of the Vampire Killer. She is also a member of Genya Arikado’s (Alucard’s) organization to help protect the world from undead threats.
About Her
Sonia can pretty much be summed up in one word, Bookworm. She delights in reading anything and everything she finds in both the Belmont Hold and the Library of Alucard’s Castle. While some see it as a weakness for her, given that she’s suppose to be training more to be a warrior; in truth it is her greatest strength, as she is quite knowledgeable in the details of monsters, locations and combat. Though she loves to read by her own desire, she also wishes to memorize and preserve knowledge as precaution, as the Belmont lineage almost went extinct, twice. Although Alucard has taken measures to make certain this does not happen again, Sonia can’t help but feel it necessary to try and preserve as much as her family’s legacy as possible.
While not the strongest Belmont in history, she would definitely be considered the fastest of them all. Her incredible speed allows for her to dodge many attacks with ease. At the age of 8, she once chased down one of the ancient dodo birds that so happened to be roaming her estate grounds. Normally the creatures are near impossible to catch, yet she managed to catch it anyway, with her bare hands no less, which impressed both her father and Alucard. She is also the shortest Belmont, standing at only 5’4", which she does not like being mentioned, at all.
Her outfit is very free and airy, comprised of soft pants, a tank top and a special sweater that doesn’t go to the shoulders. She also has open finger gloves, slip-on shoes and no socks.
She is practical and very grounded, always assessing the situation and thinking things through instead of just charging ahead, giving her potential as a leader. She tends to get too caught up in things though, distracted by her books and her hobbies, traits which causes her to need extra training. She can also be over protective when it comes to her loved ones, her friends and even herself. She has great self confidence and belief in herself, and gets flustered when people doubt her abilities as a warrior. She has faith in herself that she will do right by her ancestor’s legacy.
Fun Facts:
- When she reads, she wears beautiful reading glasses.
- Her favorite color is Lavender.
- She is ambidextrous, a trait she inherited from her father.
- Her favorite food is a Meat Pie recipe that her mother uses.
- The castle’s training course has a time trial of 1:30 seconds, Alucard’s time on the course is 1:00 exactly, Sonia managed to beat her master’s time by completing it in 57 seconds.
- While most of the Belmont family favored the cross sub-weapon, Sonia’s favorite is the stop watch.
- Sonia’s favorite piece of literature to read is the Journal of the Devil Forgemaster Hector, specifically the pages that detail the mysterious Saint Germain.
- The original Sonia Belmont is considered non-canon by Iga, but a lot of fans still consider her canon regardless. So my Sonia could simply be named after her ancestor, making her Sonia the Second.
- If she had a voice, she would be voiced by Ratana, who voiced Ishtar in Fire Emblem Heroes, Lianshi in Dynasty Warriors 9 and Leonie in Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

Random OC Gushing
Taaffeite Random Fact: Taaffeite’s design was inspired a character in episode 20 of the 1967 anime Ogon Bat (Fantaman), a character named “The Queen” who held a crystal ball in her hands, and suspiciously looks like Lapis Lazuli with sunglasses, a purple coat and white boots. Of course I didn’t want to just make another Lapis, so I focused on the purple color, turned the coat into a cape, and gave her a quiet, graceful demeanor. The crystal ball is also a prominent part of her character, as it is her weapon.

The Tragedy of Spinel & Onyx
Spinel is probably the closest this show will ever get to having a character like my gemsona Onyx. She’s now one of my favorite characters from the show and one of my favorite villains of all time. She’s so complex and tragic, as well as being well designed and animated.
She and Onyx are like two sides of the same coin. Both have suffered from Pink, both have transformed and are contrasts from their former appearances and personalities and both have stretchy powers.
So here’s them drawn together, it’s my first time drawing Spinel. :)
Drawn by my wife, this is the best thing I've ever seen in regards to the Steven Universe Movie. XD
