The Omikron-class ship, the Marauder, was in hyperspace and approaching its destination. In the pilot's seat, Ahsoka sat cross-legged, staring at the blue-white light in front of her. Morai had left after her recovery, while Ahsoka stayed with Luke and Grogu for a while longer. She learned to trust herself again, got the support she needed from Luke and trained with Grogu. And then suddenly Morai came back and she could already feel it before the Convor lady landed on her shoulder. She knew what she had to do and set off immediately. Luke had given her the Marauder. A beeping snapped her out of her thoughts, the message that they would be leaving hyperspace in a few minutes. Ahsoka looked down at the sleeping Morai in her lap and felt sorry to have to wake her now. She carefully stroked the green feathers and felt the movement. The female convor woke up, opened her beak a few times and hopped onto Ahsoka's shoulder. From there she watched as they jumped out of hyperspace and approached the planet.

A blue planet, water as far as they could see. There was a bit of land, but not much. Instead, there were always small islands. Ahsoka smirked as she pushed through the light cloud cover and spotted the largest of the islands. Pabu, was just the right retreat for the clones. They had the water around them, like they once had on Kamino. The sun was just rising, the morning glow illuminating the sky. But there were already boats around Pabu. They were accompanied by a flock of birds, hoping that they too would get something from the fishermen's catch. Ahsoka saw the many little houses that populated the entire island from bottom to top. The Marauder landed at the highest point, in a large square. Ahsoka stood at the door, but she hesitated, sensing the reason for her visit again, and afraid of it. A cooing in her ear made her nod. She was allowed to be afraid and Ahsoka opened the door.

When Sona went to see Cara the next morning, Paz was already at her door.

"What do you want?" she asked gruffly and walked past him. Paz followed her and grabbed her shoulder, but she shook him off.

"To know what you've decided!"

She could hear the nervous tremor in his voice.

Sona bit her lips and dodged into an alley where there weren't so many people. A few had already noticed the two of them arguing. She gave Paz a sour look and had to control herself not to shout.

"You push a child into a hole and leave him lying there and you ask me what punishment you're getting?"

Paz shook her head.

"I didn't do that, he must have overheard me and ran that way in fright..."

Sona stared at him.

"What could he have overheard you doing?"

Paz swallowed, looked to the ground and raised his hands in resignation.

"Bo-Katan..."

Sona snapped.

"I couldn't tell her anything. I don't know anything. She's so angry!" Paz lied. He was aware that if he told the truth, he would be an outcast and would surely be locked up. But even the untruth didn't reassure Sona. Without saying another word, she left Paz standing there. She was angry with herself because she should have listened to her feelings much sooner. She could feel Paz following her, but she ignored him. At least she tried to.
