The juliantina journey chronology:

from the day they met to the national TV coming out.

Note: All the dates are based on the following screenshot that took place during the day Valentina and Juliana fought (Monday 16th July 2018). Also, I’m posting this from my phone so if it looks ugly you know who’s to blame 😌

Day 1: Tuesday 10th July 2018

Juliana sees Valentina for the first time as they cross the street. They officially meet at the park a little later. They go on a not date and Valentina smiles for the first time since her father’s death.

Day 2: Wednesday 11th

Valentina almost drowns and finds comfort in Camillo’s book. Juliana bullies Panchito and finds out who Valentina is.

Day 3: Thursday 12th

Valentina “accidentally” finds Juliana selling lottery tickets at a park. They go for a coffee date and later Juliana buys the dress.

Day 4: Friday 13th

Juliana goes to Val’s place for the first time. They bond, Val teaches her how to swim, they exchange clothes. Later Lucia is kidnapped and Valentina calls Juliana instead of Lucho.

Day 5: Saturday 14th (!!!)

Juliana takes 3 buses to comfort Val. They open up, Valentina is way too happy that Juliana is a virgin and then they have the September 14th conversation. Lucia is comes back and later Valentina brings a pie at Juliana’s place to let her know that her problems matter too.

Day 6: Sunday 15th

Once again, Valentina accidentally finds Juliana while she sells lottery tickets and after an awkward lunch they have their iconic park date. A lot of gaying around. Valentina listens to “eso es amor” countless times but she doesn’t know why.

Day 7: Monday 16th July 2018

Juliana’s dream of enrolling to a fashion school are crushed. They fight. Juliana wants to apologize but they’re not letting her in. Valentina drowns her sorrows in alcohol and comphet. She sleeps with a man for the last time but at least the two of them make up. Juliana cries because Valentina has a boyfriend of classism.

If you really wanna get a sense of just how fucking big blue whales really are, then consider the fact that the dolphins swimming in front of this whale are over two metres long

While 100% a species of dolphin i want to point out those are ORCAS. if anyone got confused for a second like i did. Those are fucking orcas. Holy shit that is a giant fucking whale.

Each orca is over 6.5 feet long, Americans.

guys, just, no. these are likely pacific whitesided dolphins, a criminally adorable cetacean found in the North Pacific that does indeed average at around 2.3-2.5 meters long.

now THIS is an orca, pictured here in the act of headbutt-murdering a common dolphin right into fucking oblivion. (common dolphins are about the same size as the pacific whitesided dolphin, for scale.)

that’s right, orcas max out at an astonishing 25 feet long, or well over 7 meters. that’s almost a quarter as long as that blue whale, and is just generally way too fucking big to deal with today when you remember that we’re talking about an apex predator the size of a minibus. they’re simply too big to be mistaken for anything else in the ocean!

orcas eat a wide variety of foods depending on their location, from herring to that really unfortunate common dolphin up there (rip.) if I really wanted to give the lowdown on them I’d be here all day, but I’ll tell you that orcas are also the only known predator to hunt and kill blue whales. so lets just be glad it’s only the dolphins in that first pic!

also here’s a cheerful reminder that the evolutionary rise of the Orca mysteriously coincided perfectly with the decline and extinction of Megalodon!
