Nobody gives a fuck about Biden very ambiguously “negotiating” with Israel, all while he continues funding the weapons it’s using to genocide Palestinians. Yesterday the IOF abducted 16 people during dawn prayers in Al-Aqsa Mosque, and there are still no reports of aid being allowed through the “opened” Beit Hanoun crossing. I say opened in quotation marks because no aid trucks entered Gaza despite Israel’s claims that they would permit “temporary aid.” It’s all smoke and mirrors—and it’s pure evil.

I’m not one for conspiracy theories, but this almost obsessive focus on the Central World Kitchen massacre…. I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s drowning out everything else. All the violence in West Bank, the abductions, the starvation in Gaza, and now mass unrest in Egypt, Jordan, and Morocco because of the protests—and we’re still getting regurgitated headlines about Biden?? So much else is happening. The same headline should not be overshadowing everything else the way it has the past few days.

Also—yesterday marked exactly half a year of Palestinian genocide, with the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor putting the toll of those dead at 41k. We’ve been saying 32k for a minute now, but that’s just a stalled number not accounting for those buried under rubble or whose bodies are missing.

Forty one thousand.

Not a single headline about it. The Palestinians suffering are an afterthought—if even that.

How about a plot where person a and person b grew up as neighbors for their whole lives and person a’s family is mixed up in some shit—I’m talking mafia or otherwise organized crime—and person b didn’t figure it out until they were in high school and had already been friends half of their lives or more. Fast forward to their adult lives and person b skirting around the edges of person a’s life, the family’s business, and they have to pull person b aside to chat about it. Where it goes from there, who knows, but the idea won’t leave my head.

i don't really know how to start this; i'm at a loss for words to describe how disappointed and upset i am right now. i don't want to go into too much detail about what's going on or add any pictures to this post for the public to see (but please dm me if you want proof or more detail, etc).

i made a post a few days ago but if you didn't see it, i'll explain super briefly — my boyfriend recently lost his job and i haven't been working due to my mental health along with a few other series of unfortunate events that have happened since. we aren't able to pay our $800 rent this month or pay for much of anything right now. i'm trying really hard to get a job (and have made it a goal to find one by the end of march break - on the 15th) but not getting calls back. my boyfriend has a job lined up with his brother but we're waiting for a call from them and who knows how long that could take.

i'm not going to lie, i can't offer much. right now, the best i can do is indie / rpg makeovers (or making them over from scratch for you, so you don't have to worry about doing anything) and anything on my what i do page. i could also potentially make static icons but i don't have access to photoshop at the moment so i can't get much more adventurous than that.

genuinely one of the worst things that’s happened to television in the last few years (exacerbated by streaming services) is death of Filler. going from 20 episodes to 8 because “we didn’t really need that episode where the main characters went to the beach right? it had no long lasting effect” but we DID!!! we needed to see how they act without the Big Bad Plot and to establish the dynamics between the characters and lay in the sun (do they forget sunscreen? how do they react to a thieving seagull? do they get buried in the sand or do they do the burying?). the plot isn’t everything. the action doesn’t hit as hard without the quiet moments. give us character development and our little scenes back

i don’t know why some people are desensitised or blind to the fact that bombing people is more than just killing people but is also maiming and torturing people physically and psychologically. there’s been many videos now of people including kids collecting what’s left of their family members and it’s just chunks of meat and a hand. people with their limbs blown off and torn to shreds. what happens to peoples limbs and/or entire bodies in an explosion is basically the same as being thrown into a giant meat grinder, these deaths are not painless even if they’re quick. people are having their limbs torn off and then bleeding to death, being burned alive, being crushed with heavy cement and rubble. being trapped under rubble and sand and suffocating or dying of thirst. sometimes alone and sometimes with their family, sometimes they can hear their family but can’t see or reach them. people having shrapnel launched into their throats has the same impact as slitting someone’s throat, shrapnel in the rest of your body is the same as getting stabbed multiple times. this is not any less sadistic and barbaric just because israel has the luxury of just pressing a button from a plane and not actually witnessing the outcome of what they’re doing.
