“Another life... it was...”
The witch stared at her reflection in the mirror. The words slipped out of her lips silently, but they seemed to echo all around her. Images from the vision she just woke up from kept dashing in front of her eyes, and she could see someone else, but with her identical face, still there. She was cruel, but her purpose wasn’t one that could be blamed. Someone was right behind her, with gloved hands on her shoulders in a possessive fashion, a strict guide... that she seemed to accept oh so willingly. Was it really the missing piece of her puzzle?
She would have never known, for a light so bright would soon envelop everything there was and wash away the feeling of uneasiness. That was all that would be left of her nights. White-hot scenarios turned black, dreamless blankets protecting all that was left...
