In case peeps haven't figured it out already, on a hiatus till August/September thanks to college, exams, and well, my mental/emotional state.

Edit: That said, you want me to see something or think there's something I might like, please do tag me in it. 👉🏼👈🏼

Oh, it really has been two years, huh...? Thank you so much, my friends, for tagging me in the meanwhile (and what a while it has been); that'll be a massive help in catching up, ah! I completed my Honours and haven't been able to get back to Tumblr—until now, 8 days off my exams.

Lots of stuff has happened, lots of media has been nommed on, and lots of work done in general.

I'm happy to slowly, surely, be Back! Will maybe give a list of all the things I've fixated on (rekindled my love for anime, for one; got obsessed with HoTE, C-novels and -dramas, and...well, there's a lot!) while away from Tumblr for my old followers and moots (can't believe I still have any, lol).

A url change coming up (medhasreeraat-jaaga-paakhi), because I like my nickname in my private Discord server a bit too much, lol.

I saw recently someone accuse nonbinary people of "riding the coattails" of binary trans people, and I cannot emphasize this enough: take my coattails, hold them in your hands, pull yourself up by my bootstraps. Together is how we thrive, together is how we fight, together is how we win.

There are queer people out there who when they see another branch of the queer community either succeeding or receiving support, their reaction is to try and pull them back down. The logic is often: if I had to suffer, so do you.

If I could give a piece of advice to anyone just entering the queer community, it would be: be wary of people who want suffering more than solidarity.

Remember, in this community, we are not here to fight for scraps, we are here to rise together.

Oda's message about Akira Toriyama paassing away.

"It is too early. The hole is too big. Sadness washes over me when I think that I will never see him again. I have admired him so much since I was a child.

I remember the day he called me by name for the first time, the day you used the word "friend" for me and Kishimoto, I remember being overjoyed with Kishimoto on the way back home. I also remember the last conversation we had.

He was one of those who took the baton from the days when reading manga made you a fool, and created an era when both adults and children could enjoy reading manga. He showed us the dream that manga can go global. It was like watching a hero going forward. For not only manga artists but also the creators in various industries, the excitement and emotion of the time of Dragon Ball serialization must have taken root in their childhood. His existence is like a big tree.

For the manga artists of our generation who stood on the same stage, the closer I got to Toriyama's works, the more I realised that they had a greater presence. Scary. But I am just happy to see the easy-going man himself again. Because we love Toriyama-sensei on a blood level. With respect and gratitude for the creative world he has left behind, I pray for his soulful rest in peace.

May heaven be the joyous world just as you envisioned it." (X)

So a free tool called GLAZE has been developed that allows artists to cloak their artwork so it can't be mimicked by AI art tools.

AI art bros are big mad about it.

Seeing as Twitter is gonna legally steal your work now, please use glaze to protect what you make.

Using both Glaze and Nightshade would corrupt the generation of pictures mimicking artist AND mess with the AI's recognition of what everything is. Like it would generate a dog when you ask for a cat.

And it would be hell for AI bros to remove the cloaked pictures from their database ʕ 👀人ʔ

So after literally harassing @paneerlajwanti yesterday, I've decided to torture everyone with my amateur atrocity in art (since I haven't been able to write in the past week)

So here it is:

The skeleton:

And the final doodle:

The mandatory taglist remains to be tortured:

Would so love to know what y'all think, since this only the third time I've done anything like this in my life.

Also note: Drawn by free hand. Rather doodled by free hand.
