This is my final blog post.

I know that some of you may not have seen this coming, but Kacchan and I have been trying to leave a few hints for you all. 

In short terms, Ground Zero and I have decided to take an indefinite break from blogging now that we’re married. Although we’ll leave our posts up for you all to visit again if you’d like, this blog is closing down.

We want to spend more time focusing on each other and our work without this kind of distraction in our lives. And we’d like to communicate with each other without needing to post our feelings on a blog for the world to see. 

This isn’t to say that we aren’t incredibly grateful for the support that we’ve received during the time that Kacchan and I have spent here. We’ve met so many people that we hadn’t gotten to know before, and we’ve made some friendships that will last a lifetime. 

We’ve learned so much more about each other and ourselves, and I’m not sure if all this would have possible without the decision to open this blog. 

With your help, I've learned to accept parts of myself that I’d hidden away. Kacchan has opened up, too. He’s always been brash and (maybe more than) a little arrogant, but in the past few months, I’ve seen a confidence take hold in him that’s more genuine than anything he’s exuded before. 

I’ve seen so much change in my life over the past year. There have been ups and downs, but we’ve weathered through everything and we’re all stronger for it. Words can’t express how fiercely glad I am to be here. 

And you’ve all helped to make this possible. 

Thank you all for reaching out to us over these past months. We’re grateful beyond belief for all of the wonderful memories that we’ve made together, and we can’t wait to reach out to more of you while we’re on duty. 

When we started this blog, we wanted to bring more attention to causes that we supported, we wanted to be more transparent to the public about what we do as heroes, and we wanted to bring communities together in a positive way. 

I think that we’ve worked towards that in our time here, and we’ll continue to fight for these goals while we’re offline. 

As a side note, we’re proud to announce that our publicist will be leaving the Wonder Duo team in order to assume leadership of the organization currently known as the Anti-Quirk Liberation League. Her first act as residing President of the AQLL is to become President of the FQR; along with the League’s board, she passed a motion to change the name of the organization to the Foundation for Quirkless Rights. 

We hope this transition speaks volumes of the way she intends to carry this foundation. 

Although I may not always see eye to eye with her principles, I hope that you all give her views just as much consideration as you’ve given Ground Zero and I in the past. 

There are challenges ahead of us. 

We can face them together.

We couldn’t have done this without you.

We’re gonna take a few more pictures, say some goodbyes, and blow this place in a few minutes. We’ve gotta plane to catch; we’re gonna head to our honeymoon destination without a break so we can make sure we get a few days to spend there together. 

For you fucks staying behind, you can stay at the party for as long as you like. We’ve got the venue booked ‘till the morning, and the bar’s gonna keep supplying booze to the people that’re legal ‘till about three in the morning. 

There’s plenty of food, too.
