Summary: Evan loves his wife more than anything and he will do whatever he can to get her help when she starts having strange symptoms and no doctor can find a diagnosis. Or treatment. And her health is only getting worse.

With her tongue poking between her teeth, (Y/n) pressed the heel of her left hand against the top of the page to keep it still so she could try and finish what she had been writing.

One week on the anti-inflammatory meds combined with the new targeted meds to combat her auto-immune disease felt like something had been unlocked in (Y/n)'s mind. After four days, the lock inside her brain opened and it felt like she had broken out of a hardened mould. She could move her body, her arms, legs, neck and jaw no longer felt stiff and tense and even her tongue was now under her own control to speak.

Her speech was slurred, it felt like she had been given an injection to numb her tongue and throat and it was taking a while to wear off, but Doctor Hardin had signed her up for speech therapy. Her speech was the quickest thing to come back to her rather than her muscle movement. She had been reassured that she would gain back full control, but it was starting from scratch.

(Y/n) had to learn how to reach and grasp things, how to walk again like a toddler and how to hold up her own weight and stand on her own two feet without help, something she couldn't do yet.

On my to-watch list tonight! I listened to her first one (last year or so?) which was very good so I'm looking forward to this one!

With a bright smile on her face, Ella threw the crayons back into the plastic tub and closed the lid with an air of accomplishment about her. Her head swayed along with the song on the CD player next to her and she hummed the tune while she walked over to the bookshelf they used for toys and games.

Her bright blue eyes glanced around her before she put the crayon box back and slowly pulled out the blue plastic box with a sticker on that said ‘Jesse’.

Ella didn’t think it was fair that Jesse got to have special pens and erasers because she too liked them.

The blue box was full of erasers that looked like small toys, there were ones made like food, such as a burger or chips or a milkshake. Others were cars, animals and even a small sewing machine eraser. But the better ones were the plain rectangle erasers that had different smells; Ella loved the blueberry one. They were sensory to Jesse, he wouldn’t try and eat the erasers for some reason even though he had PICA, he would sit and smell them for ages and throw them around. And some of the felt-tip pens he had were ones that smelt too, cherry, orange, strawberry, lemon.

“Will mummy be home now?”

With a tired smile, Henry leaned his upper body forward so he could peek over the top of the pushchair and glance down at Angel. Her dark blonde hair was tied in two plaits which amused her to no end and made her shake her head side to side to feel the plaits tapping her cheek when she moved. Her bright eyes stared up at Henry when she turned herself around to look up at him with those eyes he could never say no to.

“Yeah, she’ll be at home so you can all see her now.” Henry couldn’t help the yawn that passed his lips after he spoke but it made no difference to Angel. She clapped her hands before turning back round in her seat, shaking the pushchair with her eager rocking, desperate to get home as quickly as possible.

It had been three days since the kids had seen (Y/n) and they were growing as desperate as they were when Henry went away for filming. But at the same time, each of them were taking advantage of the fact that they had Henry to themselves.

Once again, Henry scanned his eyes over his kids… his brood, his troop, checking all of them were accounted for and okay.

It wasn’t very often that Henry took all the kids out on his own, they didn’t get many chances for that and it was hard work taking all of them somewhere that suited each of them. And this was the first time he was out with their newest addition, Athena, but he was loving every moment of it.

Henry had Athena in a sling-wrap around his chest, her head was cosied up against his left shoulder, her body curled up into his chest with the sling around her and over Henry’s shoulder and back and under his right arm.

1. Everyone wants a time machine. Like, more than they want oxygen.

As suggested by @onegoldenglance, I think it was a clever idea to make a masterpost of these episodes for those who haven’t been able to keep track of what’s been shared newly. Also thanks to her for helping me on this struggling journey of craving, looking for new visuals from Pop Quiz and showing me if she finds anything :)

I have made a detailed search and this is the conclusion, I haven’t been able to find something new. “And you’re sure it was the child’s father who took him?” Officer Branagh asked you for the fifth time in the last 20 minutes. You stamped your foot into the dirt just off to the side of the driveway of your home where you were standing and groaned.

“Biologically, yes,” you spat. “Sperm donor is the correct word. His father is Benjamin Jones, my husband, who legally adopted him over a year ago. I’ve told you this a hundred times. Please, he’s out there with my baby, you have to find him!” Your mother put her hand on your shoulder and squeezed lightly, steering you to turn around to face her. You buried your face in your hands and let out a frustrated half groan, half scream.

“Where is he, Mum? Where is Ben?” you asked, searching the yard again like he was going to just appear out of nowhere. Suddenly another car pulled up in your driveway and screeched to a halt in front of the garage and Ben’s father got out and rushed over to you and your mother.

“I tried to call your phone Y/N, but it’s going straight to voicemail. Benjamin’s in the hospital,” he said before you could ask.
