my favourite thing in the world about percy and sally's relationship is that percy is like fourteen when he finds out his mother's been seeing another man and it's only been two years since he himself got away from an abusive stepdad but he sees his mother happy and smiling and he sees this man treating her well and he doesn't for one second resent her or bear any ill will towards paul bc he trusts sally and more importantly he knows sally trusts him and will now live a safer, happier live so he has absolutely NO qualms about paul depsite it being fully within his right to be suspicious of him!!!

as fun as it is to think about percy and annabeth’s biological children (what they’d look like, what powers they’d have, etc) i can also definitely imagine them adopting. there are so many lil demigods out there without stable family situations and just based on the way percy tried to protect 10 year old nico as a literal 14 year old child was very indicative of the fact that he feels so deeply for young demigods without a support system. besides that, i imagine annabeth would have a tough time with pregnancy due to the fact that she is so career-driven. and lastly i just like to imagine satyrs periodically calling up percy and annabeth and being like, “found another one for you” and they go out to arkansas or wherever the fuck to whisk away some six year old halfblood with a shitty, resentful parent. as scary as percy is confronting that parent, annabeth is 10x worse. eventually the two of them end up with a brood of five or six. they’re the demigod equivalent of batman, just taking in orphans and neglected children left and right because how could they not?? annabeth especially knows what it means to grow up unwanted and unloved, so how could they let another kid experience the same thing?
