Rui + Toya interactions are some of my favorites because

1) toya is a good benchmark of how far rui has grown wrt being willing to form relationships with his non wxs peers (progression from an ode for the pure of heart -> never give up cooking -> let’s study hard)

2) rui is very willing to drop the “silly and mischievous guy” act whenever toya is around

3) By virtue of being obsessed with tsukasa “won’t shut up about his siblings” tenma & spending all of his time at school with tsukasa AND the fact that toya is just very genuine and kind & has always treated Rui with nothing but wholehearted respect it’s impossible for rui to NOT gaf about toya

So it’s just kind of this vibe imo
