Introducing RQ-Described!

We're a blog that is dedicated to adding image descriptions to fanart, edits, videos, animatics, and any other media within the shows that Rusty Quill produces. We're aiming to improve accessibility in the fan community overall, so we're taking submissions and requests for writing IDs; all you have to do is tag us in the comments or submit the link through our submissions box. Do keep in mind that more detailed pieces may take us a little longer to ID.

As part of this blog, we are going to be compiling already accessible works that have image descriptions/transcripts added, in order to keep the most well rounded blog we can. If you are a blog that writes IDs or transcripts, feel free to reach out and we’d be happy to spread your work!

Accessibility within this fandom is an important mission for us; fandom should not be an inaccessible area for anyone and it's our goal to ensure that people who rely on image descriptions and/or transcripts for any number of reasons can enjoy fandom to the same extents as anyone else. If you're interested in learning more about accessibility, you can read this post for the basics of why image descriptions are so important, or our accessibility resources tag for some tips and information about writing IDs.

Finally, we have a spreadsheet that catalogs artists’ race/ethnicity headcanons for Magnus Archives and Stellar Firma characters to allow for more accuracy while writing IDs. We highly encourage fanartists to add their own information via comments mode on the spreadsheet! For more info about this, see this post.

This episode had me so flustered I don’t even know why!!!!
