This is at my university and I’m not joking there are protests in the meadow by this building nearly EVERY DAY. At least every week. The meadow, Dunn Meadow, is literally known as the free speech meadow. They NEVER have police present at these gatherings in this meadow. And yet and YET!!! They have called in state troopers and militarized the area and have used UNIVERSITY BUSES to mass arrest students that are PAYING TUITION for the university because they are peacefully protesting

this is dystopian. They have snipers aimed at students using their first amendment right. In the free speech meadow.

For the people under this post saying this picture isn’t real— I just drove by there and can confirm :) Right now there are two men up there with binoculars. I drove right through the street where on one side there are Pro Palestine protestors and on the other side is the campus Jewish Cultural Center where the students there are blasting music and waving their flags back at the other side.

Yesterday it was peaceful and they called in the police and state troopers. Looks like there is a less intense police presence today but as I was driving by like four police cars and police were walking up so 🤷‍♀️

Prince Seungcheol had never thought of the glimmer of the crown perched on his head as something more significant than an accessory. Though bearing an extra weight with the dazzles of its heavy ruby and sapphire embellishments, it felt as if it wasn’t even there. But for most of his waking hours, the prince would resign from wearing it— head barren from the symbol  of his nobility.

“But you’re the prince,” his Royal Advisor, Jeonghan, had once said. “What service will your people owe to you when they know not who to serve?”

It had been a happy coincidence that you’d be moving to the same city as Choi Seungcheol for your postgraduate studies, but your friend, Lee Chan, does not in fact have a roommate. He had extended his invitation for you to move in with him any time you wanted, but you had other plans, plans involving your older brother’s childhood best friend, a man you’ve been hopelessly in love with for as long as you can remember.

(“What, like you’re gonna seduce him? Like, with sex?!” Chan sounds mildly scandalized when you tell him your plan. “If that’s what you’re doing, then I don’t want to hear any more about it.”)

You were twisting your hands, wringing your fingers and scraping your nails against your skin. You refused to look at Seungcheol, staring at his feet where he still wore the sneakers he had hurriedly put on before going to practice that day, having had no time to do much else after waking up late.

It wasn't hard to see the weariness on your face, not when you held your body away from him, as if he was a stranger you were about to bare your heart to and not the man you've been dating for four years.

You were wearing mismatched socks. Your sweats were uneven, one leg having rolled up to your knee and the other bunched loosely around your ankle. The hoodie was his, and Seungcheol knew that if he were to press closer he would be able to smell his cologne.
