I remember being in nursing school and part of the cultural competency lesson covered pain tolerance for different races. (I worked in the hospital and my teacher was the Asst Nurse Manager in labor and delivery) She taught us that Asians and Black people had a higher pain tolerance than other races so they could handle it better
