I'm curious to know what happened with joost bc I doubt he'd do something unprovoked literally the day before the grand final. If SVT is to be believed why would he have a physical altercation with a photographer literally the day before one of the biggest days of his life

On Twitter people say that the photographer provoked him by making a joke about his dead parents 😬

the netherlands got disqualified, the dutch flag got taken down, malta might replace them, spain might withdraw, the israhell delegation has been looking for beef with people, the ebu website is down, no one knows what's going on, not even singers, the atmosphere is tense

and then there's italy being delulu and signing imagine in the midst of the fire

The true "it's fine" meme.

Am I the only one who loves Latvia’s song this year? Idk I usually dislike ballads but I can’t stop singing it to myself

I do! I do! Deeply saddened to see Dons song so low in rankings and betting odds. He has a beautiful voice and I love the song. But generally speaking, I love Latvia entries, even if they're snobbed by audience and juries. Tonight Dons will have my useless votes.

Georgia🇬🇪

Let Georgia rise from the ashes as Nutsa Buzaladze performs ‘Firefighter' in the 2nd semi-final!🧯

Nutsa does not only charm viewers with her bright personality but she also has extraordinarily strong vocals that led her to be a finalist and a winner of many singing competitions throughout her career. Today this Georgian singer is a successful singer with many singles under her belt and she is ready to take on a new challenge, which is representing her home country in Eurovision 2024.

‘Firefighter’ is a song with an interesting meaning describing a fight against negative aspects - whatever one prefers to imagine in this case. Netsa says that everyone can start a fire, but it takes a lot to stay strong and fight against negativity & criticism with kindness and love. Would Netsa finally bring Georgia back in the grand final?

Manifestin for Nutsa to qualify!

Belgium🇧🇪

It’s ‘Before the Party's Over’ by Mustii from Belgium 🥀🎇

Belgium is back to selecting its song internally after last year’s Belgian representative Gustaph was chosen through Eurosong 2023. This time it is Thomas Mustin (Mustii) with the track ‘Before the Party's Over’, which was the first announced artist for Eurovision 2024 back in August last year. Unfortunately for Eurofans, his song was released only half a year later in February 2024.

This scenographic masterpiece of a song is described by Thomas as a "pop with a dark edge”, which suits his own flamboyance and dramatic vibe perfectly. It opens with a stretchy and flowy main part and climaxes after the bridge, which is always performed very emotionally by Mustii. It is very curious to see what he has prepared for his main performance.

Stolen from Reddit because…

Posted in Natalia Barbu‘s IG stories…

Remember that short but sweet era where Eurovision contestants loved each other and when they went home after missing their semi or came near bottom in the final, they kissed all of their new friends, followed them all over their IGs and left with grace and dignity?

Yep, those days appear to be over.

Who wants some salt with their fries?

Throwing the other singers under the bus won't help her gain the sympathy of the audience (definitely not mine). What a tacky, tasteless, unorofessional message.

She first called out the qualified songs (an attack on the queer community? An attack on the queer community), then she directly attacked her colleagues, all while she was wearing a revealing, low-cut dress on stage.

Mind you, I have nothing against revealing clothing, on the Eurovision stage or elsewhere, but I do have something against hypocrisy.
