desiree-uk sims 3 reblogs and likes

@desiree-uk / desiree-uk.tumblr.com

I'm here to like Sims 3 stuff :)

A new mod by Clxng! Clxng mod notes: A conversion of The Sims 4 pregnancy test to The Sims 3.

Why does this mod exist? One special milestone for many during their pregnancy journey is taking their pregnancy test. This interaction was included in The Sims 4 and I thought it would be a great addition to The Sims 3. The ultimate goal was to add a lightweight mod that would allow players to use the interaction along with or without other mods to support everyone's playstyle.

What does this mod do? When sims have completed a WooHoo or Try for Baby interaction, a new interaction Take Pregnancy Test (§15) will appear to allow sims to take a pregnancy test. The actual interaction will be similar to using the toilet as normal with a pop up after stating if the sims is pregnant or not. The interaction will disappear after 24 hours if the sim has not taken the test. This is also when a sim will start showing and receive their pregnancy moodlet in the game by default, if they are pregnant.

FAQ There are other mods that add pregnancy tests. Why create another? Yes, there are a few different mods that have pregnancy test. Some great examples include MonocoDoll's Menstrual Cycle 1.0.0 & Mingos' The Birds and the Bees. Those are amazing and I fully recommend checking those out. This mod is a standalone pregnancy test without changing how pregnancies are determined.

There are a couple of packages, what is the difference between them? The file descriptions and titles should help select which one to add your game. They all use the same code and are just configured using an XML file. Guide to file naming: MF = Male and Female F = Female only TeensAllowed = Teens are able to use the interaction

Why can't I see the pregnancy test interaction? The interaction will show up if a sim participates in WooHoo or Try for Baby interaction or becomes pregnant and passes the gender and age checks for the version installed in the game. The interaction will only appear once, so if you have taken the test the interaction won't show up until the sim participates in another WooHoo or Try for Baby interaction.

What does this mod not do? This mod will not change how a sim becomes pregnant. Examples: this mod does not add teenage pregnancy or allow pregnancy through a WooHoo interaction. Those functions would need to be added by a different mod.

Does this remove the pregnany chime from the game? No, there are other mods that already do that. I've included one in the recommended mods below. If are using the chime, you can still use this interaction for storytelling purposes.

Recommended Mods Mods that I would recommend playing this with include:

Future Plans There would be potential to add a pregnancy test object and have sims go to the grocery store to purchase one before they take the test, but I like the simple nature of the mod in it's current state. Maybe a future add-on but no promises.

Credits I would like to thank those that helped test this mod in the TS3CreatorsCave discord. (If you would like a direct credit with link to socials please let me know and I would be happy accommodate.) @Zoeoe for helping me with a programming syntax error. @PuddingFace for the great YouTube videos that helped me get started. @CmarNYC for the many great written tutorials on I read from ModTheSims while working on this. @Buzzler for creating a great Localization tutorial. @MonocoDoll many questions or programming questions I had would be resolved, many times, by finding a previous forum question thread created by you, so thank you!! I would also like to thank everyone that contributed to the Sims 3 Code Snippet Jar, this saved me... many times.

Write Letters by Twinsimming 📫

This mod allows sims to write letters (or hate mail) to other residents in their town via the mailbox.

Requirements

This mod requires The Sims 3: Generations and The Sims 3: Seasons.

Writing Letters

The “Write Letter to…” and “Write Hate Mail to…” interactions work similar to the “Send Love Letter to...” interaction from The Sims 3: Seasons, but no actual letter is sent.

Child and older sims can write letters or hate mail to people they know in town! Writing letters will give a small relationship boost (similar to texting), while hate mail will do the opposite and reduce their relationship.

Young Adults and older will use the “Write Thank You Notes” animation from The Sims 3: Generations, while Child and Teen sims use the homework animations.

Small note that the homework notebook doesn't appear when a Child or Teen sim is writing a letter, but the interaction works fine.

Tuning

All of the following values are tunable in the mod’s XML files.

  • kFriendlyLetterLTR = 10
  • kMeanLetterLTR = 10

Conflicts & Known Issues

This is a new script mod so there shouldn’t be any conflicts.

📝 Dear Twin, thank you for yet another mod we can enjoy! Regards, A Happy Simmer! 😛😁

I'm messing about in Create-A-Style! And I'm having fun! 😀 I don't really spend much time in CASt, so I've forgotten about most of the patterns I had installed. This beautiful (massive!) set by Simming Berry Land is a good reason to get back into it and check them out. I've only just started looking at the furniture, there are many more things in the set! And they're all low poly! Every piece of furniture is lovely so far! And I can't wait to to try out the functional community items! And did I say they're low poly? (Yes I did, but it's worth repeating lol). 👍🏾 I don't know if it was intentional or it's just in my game, but all objects have a simple colour that loads in MISC, so you don't have to wait until CASt fully loads up for all patterns in a category to show up before you can recolour them. I'm very grateful for that because I have ALOT of patterns! lol It also means they're a nice blank canvas for you to use whatever pattern you want and they'll look good and seamless! I'm impressed how well everything recolours in CASt with some very bold patterns I've never used before. I usually use ReShade, but I toggled it off to see how they look without it. The shots are not edited, just cropped. This leather pattern is not one I'd use in most instances, but it actually looks really nice! I'd use it more on the bench, not so much on the sofa, I'll use a more subtle pattern on that lol.

Wood and wicker patterns can be a bit hit-and-miss sometimes, but every one I've tried looks amazing. Just look at the wood grain on the tables! I have a lot of patterns that don't have names so I couldn't tell you where they're from, but I'll be definitely looking for some more, especially stone and marble patterns. If anyone has any recommendations, please let me know!

This end table looks great with polished or grungified (it's a word!) metal patterns.

Thank you so much for a lovely set @simmingberryland 💜 Okay that's it, I have more objects to try out! Bye! 😊🙋🏾‍♀️

TS4 Businesses & Hobbies to TS3

Note: There may be a pottery mod in the works by someone so I didn't convert the ceramics after all. 🤫

I have converted TS4 Businesses & Hobbies including 157 items. I took full advantage of the beloved CAST tool (Create A Style) on most objects which you can view some of the channels above. Some items like the Cubby Buddy Bookshelves have overlays so I recommend using CAST to look through some objects! I kept the pricing from TS4. Please advise me of any issues. Thank you and enjoy. 😇
  • Compressed. Merged or Unmerged packages to pick & choose from. Note: This is a BIG pack.
  • Collection file included. Drop in: Documents\Electronic Arts\ The Sims 3\Collections\User.
  • I recommend using Lazy Duchess's Catalog Search Mod using "Businesses & Hobbies" and Omedapixel's Sims Decorator Tools mod.
  • Deluxe Tattoo Table by Inktastic (Massage Table) requires Infinite Zen Massage Table store object to function, In-Grain-Ed Specialty Coffee Bar (Barista Bar) requires University Life to function, Sharing is Caring Hobby Whiteboard requires University Life to function, Pottery Wheel by GFAUB (Sculpting Station) requires Ambitions to function, Mrs. Hutton's Candle Collection requires granthes - Multiple Wick Candle Script mod to function.
  • Use Icarus's Transmogrifier mod on some objects to use with sets/mods like: The Saavy Seller Collection, Ani's Merchant mod, Simlogical's OFB 4 TS3 mod, or even turn some surfaces into chests with inventories.
  • Download: Mega

Objects & details included below:

Further Description As it's self-explanatory, the bulldozer button can be used to bulldoze lots without having to go to the town edit mode and evict the existing household from the lot for bulldozing. During the process, all Sims and pets on the lot will be safely moved right near the lot if possible. Any lot is available to bulldoze. Whether the active household gets money from bulldozing depends on whether they own or have rented the lot. If a lot is owned or rented by a household, that household will get the money. If there is an owner household, there will be an option to pack the existing furniture before bulldozing. Owned vehicles and graves on lots are always preserved whenever possible.  Owned vehicles will be sent either to the owner Sim's inventory or to the owner household's inventory, whereas graves will be sent to the owner household's inventory or to the mausoleum, otherwise, they get destroyed.

Notes The bulldozing process is undoable. Bulldozing is disabled in the preview mode of the blueprint mode. Despite that, if you place rooms from the blueprint mode and then bulldoze the lot, you may get a very low amount of additional money (like 1 to 10 simoleons) from bulldozing compared to if you have never placed the rooms in the first place. Depending on your computer, your game, and the active lot, furniture packing and bulldozing may take some time, though it usually takes a few seconds for a lot to be just bulldozed. Sims and pets get relocated to right outside of the lot, which is technically off the lot. Bulldozing a WA base camp will not give the active household money, whereas bulldozing an ITF base camp will. Bulldozing penthouses, apartments, and dormitories will give the active household money as well. If your Sims become invisible after bulldozing, use NRaas MasterController to reset your Sims, instead of the resetSim cheat.

Credits Tool Credits ↳ ILSpy (decompiling the game's scripts) ↳ ChainReaction/NRaas (unprotected assemblies) ↳ s3pe (packaging the mod) ↳ Visual Studio 2022 (writing and compiling the script)

Ownable Tech - Download

For years, I've wanted a way to stop randos from using computers at my sims' houses, workplaces, restricted lot areas, etc. Finally, the dream has become reality!

Although the mod is called ownable tech, it only covers computers.

This mod was made with the Mono Patcher! You must download that in order for this to work.

What does the mod do?

Choose an owner for the computer/laptop (Control Ownership -> Set Owner...) and no other sim will be able to use it but the owner. This can be an individual sim or a household.

Restrictions cover all computer interactions, in and out of the inventory, except for modded interactions where the modder didn't call the 'IsComputerUsable' method.

You can still access all settings menus on computers as usual.

Easily see who the owner is by hovering over the computer. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the tooltips to work as intended however you can see who owns the device under the control ownership menu.

Computers can still be repaired by anyone - so your service sims won't be out of a job, don't worry!

Conflicts & Compatibility:

  • Will conflict with any mod that edits the EA 'IsComputerUsable' bool. Very unlikely as without the Mono Patcher it would be a core edit.
  • Made on game version 1.67.
  • Made on Mono Patcher version 0.2.2

As always, please enjoy!

If you would like to donate as thanks, please feel free to do so at my ko-fi!

Shaving Mod - DOWNLOAD

Objects

2 types of razors: electric and disposable.

  • They can be purchased through electronics/misc, bathroom/accent, or from the supermarket RH.
  • Disposable razors have a max. 3 uses before expiring.
  • Electric razors may break and need repairing.
  • Only disposable razors can be used in the shower.

Interactions

Sims can shave off their beards using the sink! A full shave lasts for 72 hours - stubble will grow back 1 day prior to this.

Sims can also shave their beard into a style.

Sims can also shave their legs in the shower.

Other features

Some sims may nick themselves while shaving. The sims in question will have at least one of the following attributes:

  • traits: clumsy, absent minded, childish
  • buffs: sleepy, bad nights sleep, exhausted, dazed
  • age: teenager

About beard styles

The types of beards available are determined through the Beard Config XML in the mod's main package file. You can add your own beards, if they happen to have a CASP name, and also determine which of the beards may be chosen as stubble.

Known Issues

Sadly, I couldn't get all beards to play nice with the mod. The two EA beards 'amBeardMoustache' and 'amBeardMoustacheStubble' as shown in the screenshot below will not grow back once shaved or be applied to the sim when chosen as a style. As such, I have removed them from the beard XML and you will not see them in the drop-down like below. From my knowledge, these are the only two beards that act as such.

Other

  • Requirements: No EP or mod requirements
  • Recommendations: @nectar-cellar beard cc . Kitt Trapping Beards, Imamiii beards. Whichever Master Controller module allows for female body hair.
  • Special thanks: @twinsimming for providing the shaving cream overlay which she converted. Those who helped to test the mod @desiree-uk @its-time-o-clock @puffkins2000 @twinsimming and any others who tested but did not reveal themselves.
  • Tuning: There are tuneable values in the XML.
  • Uninstallation: You can use the cheat 'uninstallshaving' to safely clear the mod data before removing from your mods folder.

Compatibility

I do not use NRaas Dresser anymore so I'm unsure how how fervently it will try to add body hair to sims when enabled. Please keep this in mind if you see oddities.

Final

There is documentation in the download. Please have a read of it if you have questions. If something isn't clear, feel free to ask!

If you would like to donate as thanks, please feel free to do so at my ko-fi!

Please enjoy,

Phoebe x

A new script mod by Destrospean! You can now customize uncustomizable outfits! Destrospean mod notes: Requires Lazy Duchess' Mono Patcher

Allows players to edit and toggle on/off the outfits for the following objects:

  • Beekeeping Box (from Supernatural)
  • Chemistry Lab (from Generations)
  • Mechanical Bull (from Showtime)
  • Teppanyaki Grill (from the Sims 3 Store)

Also allows editing the singed and skinny dipping towel outfits for each Sim (interactions available from a dresser).

None of the aforementioned expansions/store items are required for this mod to function; the objects from the add-on content not installed will simply not have the interactions available for their respective outfits (because those objects are absent from the game).

Editing and toggling on/off the outfit for each object is done for each Sim rather than globally.

Credits

  •  Buzzler (sampled code from Carpool Disabler for adding interactions and notifications; also used STBLize to create STBLs from XMLs)
  •  Melchi (sampled code from the Chemistry Lab Outfit Fix for copying tuning and disabling outfits)
  •  LazyDuchess (for Mono Patcher; used to change the functionality for setting up singed outfits)
  • NRaas (sampled code from the Master Controller Integration module to make the Master Controller module for this mod)
  • s3pe (for creating packages and importing DLLs, STBLs, tuning XMLs into them)

CLoader Update and Vegetarian Replacement Recipes

Well, I finally released it.

This is a small change to CCLoader (and it's first formal release I guess, since DouglasVeiga never did). Existing recipes are now replaced.

To kick it off, I made a bunch of replacement recipes to match the names in Spork's Vegetarian Recipe Renamer. I've always hated the half-assed recipes like "Vegetarian Fish and Chips", so this is the cure to a pet peeve for both me and Spork.

Recipe changes:

- Veggie Rolls/Mushroom and Avocado Rolls: Uses avocado from Breakfast at Twinsimming's (https://modthesims.info/d/677663/br...nsimming-s.html)

- Cheese Tofu Steak/Cheesy Mushroom Melt: Uses white cap mushrooms instead of tofu

- Vegetarian Grilled Salmon/Grilled Eggplant Fillets: Uses store purple eggplant

- Tri Tip Tofu Steak/Grilled Mushrooms in Steak Sauce: Uses mushrooms

- Vegetarian Chili/4-Bean Chili: Uses black beans from Icemunmun's Spring Harvest and Cookbook (https://modthesims.info/d/552325/sp...e-13th-may.html)

All of these recipes should work with only base game ingredients present, with tofu substituted for at least one missing ingredient.

A tuning mod by VirtualHugs!

Teen Sims now have a chance to learn about the teen hangout in town when chatting with another teen in person or on the phone!

Did you know that there's a mechanic in the game with which your teen Sim can learn the current teen hangout in town from another teen? Probably not, because silly EA set the chance to learn this to 0. This tiny tuning mod will enable this function in your game!

This mod edits the LotManager xml. It includes the following tuning:

  • kNumDaysToChangeTeenHangout value= 21 > 7. The number of days between changing teen hangouts. 21 days is way too long, especially considering the game can pick any community lot, including ones with rabbit holes.
  • kTeenHangoutAdvertisingMultiplier value= 10 (unchanged). Scoring multiplier for interactions for teens to go to the teen hangout lot. Higher values didn't seem to make a difference.
  • kVenueCleanupTime value= 3 > 5. Hour of day community lots will be cleaned up each day. Changed to 5 for compatibility with Nadira's Venues Open 10 to 4 mod. It also just makes more sense in my opinion.
  • kChanceToLearnTeenHangoutWhenChatting value= 0 > 35. Chance for teen to learn about teen hangout lot when chatting with another teen in person or on the phone. This is the most important changed value. Now your teen Sims will be able to receive a notification telling them where the current teen hangout is.
  • Extra info Teen hangouts get assigned regardless of whether you use this mod or not. This mod just allows you to find out where the teen hangout is. The interaction that can trigger the notification is 'chat', either in person or on the phone. I could not find any information anywhere about this functionality, except for this thread. In my experience it may take a bit for your game to assign a teen hangout in a new save. Incompatibilities This mod overrides the following resource: 0x0333406C-0x00000000-0xBEBB040D5D8FA44F. If you like me use Nadira's Venues Open 10 to 4 mod, then make sure to place this mod's package into your Overrides folder. You can also open her package with S3PE and delete the conflicting resource.

The new and improved search pie menu mod from Arro!

Arro mod notes: This mod requires Mono Patcher to work! Description

  • This mod adds searching for pie menu interactions.

Full compatibility with Tiny UI Fix is coming in v1.1, which I'm currently testing.

Installation guide If you use my UI Tweaks mod then please see this tumblr post Make sure that you have installed Mono Patcher • Download & unpack .zip, and place Arro_PieMenuSearch.package file in your mods -> packages folder.

Usage guide This mod is similar to Smarter Pie Menu mod for The Sims 4 • To search, simply start typing while the pie menu is open.

1. Searching for Interactions

• You can search using full words, such as “purchase,” “additional,” or “home.” • Partial matches are also supported. For example, typing “pur,” “ad,” or “h” will still display relevant results. • Even searching with multiple initials like “p a h” will return the correct interaction.

2. Selecting a Search Result

• If your search returns only one interaction, pressing Enter will automatically select it. However, if the interaction expands into more options, pressing Enter will not select anything to avoid unintended actions.

3. Keeping the Search Box Active

• The search box remains active at all times unless you manually click elsewhere. If you lose focus from the search box, you can easily refocus by: • Closing the pie menu and clicking the object again. • Clicking on the interaction that includes the ellipsis button (...).

Correction to my NRaas Master Controller Tutorial! (9th Feb 2025 - desiree-uk - Additional mods needed for filters and door-locking system!

Apologies to everyone! 😌 I forgot to list two more mods needed for filters and the door-locking system (I assumed everyone already had GoHere and Tagger installed!)

GoHere notes:

* Adds a slew of options to any door, gate, arch under Lock / Door Options.

* Enable/Disable Filters:

* Allows one to use the powerful filter system launched with Tagger on each door in the world to allow/disallow Sims access. * You can have multiple filters enabled at once if you wish.

Requires MasterController version 134+ to work. Both parts of the tutorials are corrected! PART 1 - Using NRaas Master Controller's Filters

Using NRaas Master Controller's Filters, Skill Stamps and Hot Keys - Part 2

Skill Stamps and Hot Keys

This is part 2 of my NRaas Master Controller tutorial on how I use filters, skill stamps and hot keys! (Tumblr wouldn't let me have my fun and use more than 30 images on one post, so 2 parts it is 🤨)

Mods needed for Filters, Skill Stamps and Hot Keys to show up:

(9th Feb 2025 - desiree-uk correction: Additional mods needed for filters and door-locking system (my apologies! 😌) GoHere v.45 Tagger v.5

Skill Stamps:

I use skill stamps to add a whole bunch of skills to a single sim or sims in bulk!

When adding a newly created sim to your town, they may not have any skills yet until you play them, but a skill stamp can quickly add some skills to them as if they were already played for a while.

MC Cheats Interaction: Skill Stamp> Add New Stamp

Allows the user to define a skill set to apply during "Advanced \ Skill Stamp". Once added, selecting one from the listing will allow you to specify the levels for each skill.

I want some sims to be able to have some basic skills such as cooking.

Click on Town Hall/Computer>NRaas>Settings> Skill Stamp

Add New Stamp: name the skill stamp (e.g Basic Skills).

The skill stamp is listed. Click on it and set the cooking level to whatever you want it to be. I have both the regular cooking skill and the hidden child-skill level, just because. I don't know. 😄

I maxed out the child skill to 3 and set the regular skill to 1.

I've set other skill stamps such as ones for artistic sims (painting, photography, writing) and outdoor sims (athletic, waterskiing, gardening, scuba diving, snowboarding, diving, windsurfing)

I also set one for sims who I want to be able to drive! We now have the 'Sims Need Driving Lessons' mod by the awesome Phoebejaysims! All sims (except NPCS) can't drive until they've reached the maximum level of the driving skill.

Of course you'd want some sims to be able to drive in an already established town, right?

I want my adults and elders to at least have the driving skill, even if some don't have a car yet.

Set a skill stamp for driving:

Click on Town Hall/Computer>NRaas>Settings>Skill Stamp

Name the skill to something driving related, e.g Sims With Driving Licence.

Click on the 'Driving' skill.

Max it out to 3.

Adding skill stamps to a sim with no skills:

Click on a single sim: NRaas>MC>Advanced>Skill Stamp

You see the list of my skill stamps. When I click on each one, all the skills under the stamps will be added to the sim all at once (you'll see the notices that appear in the top right hand corner pop up notifying you the sims have the skills.)

Check their skill panel to see all their added skills. The driving skill is hidden, so it won't show on the panel, but you can check the sim has it by checking their skill levels in Sim>MC>Advanced>Skill Level. It should show 'Driving: 3'

To add the skill stamp to multiple adults and elders, I'll use the filter I made earlier in Part 1.

Click on Town Hall/Computer>Sim>Advanced>Skill Stamp

The filter 'AGE: Adults/Elders' is listed.

Click on it to see a list of all the adult and elder sims.

From the list you can select some of the sims who you want to be able to drive or scroll to the top and click 'All'.

The Skill Stamp list will pop up - choose the 'Sims with driving licence' skill stamp. The skill stamp will be applied. As stated before, you won't see the hidden skill in the sims panel, but they'll be able to drive. You can of course check their skill level via MC>Sims>Advanced>Skill Level.

While you're at it, you can edit some of the selected sims driving skill levels according to whether you want them to do a driving test, theory test or have their skill maxed out so they can drive straightaway when you give them a car...

  • If they are level -1 or 0, sims can first do their theory test which will increase driving skill to level 1.
  • Once they are level 2 in driving, they can do their driving test which, if passed, will automatically max out their driving skill.

Now you can make and add as many skill stamps to any single sim or multiple sims in a filter.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hot Keys:
MC Interaction: Hot Keys
Allows the user to specify which interactions are to be shown directly under the "NRaas" menu
You can add any MC interaction to the uppermost level of the NRaas menu when you click on a sim, household or terrain as short-cuts, especially your most often-used interactions.
I added the 'skill stamp' and other interactions as hot keys so I can easily edit a sim when I click on one.
Click on Town Hall/Computer>Settings>Hot Keys
I added:
* Change Autonomy
* Reset Sim
* Skill Level
* Skill Stamp
Make sure 'True' is next to the interactions you want to see in the NRaas menu:
Click on a sim or the terrain and you'll hopefully see all your created hot keys.
See my screenshot - all 4 are there!
With the skill interactions you can quickly and easily set a sims skill level or add a skill stamp to them when you click on the sim in less clicks than clicking on multiple dialog boxes.
The other two are self explanatory, turn on/off a sim's autonomy and reset a sim.
Note: The more hot keys you add, the slower the pie menu will take to pop up, so keep that in mind.
If you still don't want to click so many times in the menu to find your interactions, you can use Arro's UI Tweaks mod (currently in testing, soon to be released - it's an excellent mod, I highly recommend it! 👍🏾) You can search the menu by clicking on the magnifying glass icon on the menu or press the 'F' key and type the interaction you want, using a full or partial word!
That's it! That's how I use filters, skill stamps and hotkeys. It will become second nature the more you use them and they can be as easy or as complex as you want them.
If you use them already, how do you set them up and in what scenarios? Share in the comments or let me know if I can add or explain anything! :)
Using NRaas Master Controller's Filters, Skill Stamps and Hot Keys - Part 1 Filters
This is part 1 of a little (big!) tutorial on how I use filters, skill stamps and hot keys from NRaas Master Controller together in my games. It's also an appreciation post! 😊
Tutorial under the header!
Mods needed for Filters, Skill Stamps and Hot Keys to show up: Master Controller v.135 Master Controller Cheats v.134+
(9th Feb 2025 - desiree-uk correction: Additional mods needed for filters and door locking system (my apologies! 😌) GoHere v.45 Tagger v.5
Filters:
I use filters, skill stamps and hotkeys for various things, mostly to edit bulk sims, refine door locking options, set filters for parties, functions etc and add short-cuts of often-used MC interactions to the NRaas menu when clicking on a sim/household/terrain. Once you know how to set these, you can set as many as you like and use them in a lot of different combinations.
Here are a few examples on how I set them up, but you can name them whatever you like.
MC Interaction: Save Filter Prompts the user to save a custom filter that can be used for Sim queries.
There are already a lot of default filters for sim-criteria like Age, Species, Residents, NPC etc, but I want to set one specifically for Adult and Elder sims together so I can set door options and skill stamps for them (more on skill stamps in Part 2!)
Click on Town Hall/Computer>NRaas>MC>Settings>Filters Click Save Filter - Age - Adult and Elder Oh, also set 'Species' to Human otherwise all adult and elder cats, dogs, horses and the Grim Reaper will show up! I always forget that part. 😄
Name the new filter (e.g AGE: ADULTS and ELDERS) Click Accept ☑ Your new filter will show up in the list of filter criteria.
I only want these sims to use a particular door. You can use the EA door locking system to select sims you want to use the door if you want, but if you want more stringent rules, then the filters are better.
Click on the door>Lock…>Door Options… Click on 'Door Filter Type - Deny Click on 'Enable/Disable Filters' - 0
Click on the new filter you made earlier 'AGE: ADULT and ELDERS Click on it until it shows 'True'. Click Accept ☑
On the previous dialog box you'll now see the 'Door Filter Type: Allow' and 'Enable/Disable Filters: 1' You'll also see two new options 'List Sims Allowed Through' and 'List Sims Denied Access'.
Click on them to double check you have the right sims listed. ALL human adult and elder sims are showing up in the 'Allowed..' list. The 'Denied Access' list should show all the baby, child, teen and YA humans and pets. (Allowed: 1st picture. Denied: 2nd picture)
You can set any filter with as many different criteria as you want. When you set a filter with more than one criteria and you specifically want that sim to use the door e.g a YA female, with the charisma skill level 2, make sure to set 'Match All Active Filters' to 'True' (above screenshot) so only a young adult, female sim, with a charisma skill of 2 can use the door. If the 'Match All…' option isn't set, then any YA sim or any female sim or any sim with the charisma skill of 2 can use the door - it's more flexible.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

In the next part, I'll be showing how I use skill stamps together with filters and hot keys!
