This account, where have I been, Noragami final arc

Heyo!

So... my account kinda has been pretty empty and slow with reblogs or posts in the past 3 years, hasn’t it?

With over 6k followers, I think I need to give an explanation on what’s been going on. :D

So where have I been?

just living my life, really. Went through some rough mental health issues, a break up, family conflicts, changing schools after graduating and much more. Life has been tough and that means I stopped being active in the noragami fandom on all social media.

Did I.. get bored of Noragami?

NOPE! :D Noragami is still a part of my life, my collection is still sitting where it’s always been and I still catch up to any updates and still read every single chapter as it releases. So why the silence? Well, like I said, life stuff, it stopped me from being motivated to really sit through tumblr posts and all I did was reblog any new art by Adachitoka or reblog a new chapter being translated, as I still care for this account and the Noragami series. Noragami is still my number 1 anime and manga series and I still love it as much as I did in 2016, but my life has changed a lot throughout these years and I have so many more other  interests now. 

The Noragami final arc......

Not going to lie, my heart sank as I read that line. I might not be as active in the Noragami fandom, but like I said, this series is still my number one and seeing it come to an end will hit hard when it comes. You gotta understand that throughout 2016 ti’ll 2019, Noragami was my life, the series was my main cope with the harsh world of middle school and abuse I was going through and I knew every single detail of the series, memorized every episode, manga chapter, collected every merch, etc. I knew everything about Noragami and the fandom, every little corner of fan content, I knew it all. So seeing something that took over my life coming to an end is honestly kinda heartbreaking, but I don’t look at it negatively. Noragami is wrapping up big things in it’s story and I’m so excited to see what the grand finale will hold. I’d rather have the series end on a conclusive and wonderful ending, then let it drag on for too long just to ‘’satisfy’’ fans or ‘’sell’’. 

I will miss this series dearly, I really will, but even after ending, I’ll still keep up with the fandom and what Adachitoka decide to do in the future with their work. I might have other interests and a very different mindset in life after everything I've been through in the last 3 years, but this series will always stay number one in my heart and I don’t want to ever leave it. 

What now?

I still won’t be crazy active, but with the final arc happening, I will definitely keep my eyes out more on tumblr here and of course I’ll still reblog some of my favorite posts. Once the series ends, I probably won’t be doing much with this account other than reblog any ‘’new’’ material (if we get any) on my @noragami-official-art blog. It will really depend on how my life and mental health will be once the series ends, but again, even if I won’t be as active, I will still lurk around the fandom, I’m not leaving Noragami any time soon. ^^
