fic: if i bleed (you'll be the last to know) (12/?)

Part Summary: You know Leigh well enough to recognize that she never acts without intention. She must have agonized about this too—about that kiss, about you. And she's making it difficult for you to guess just what conclusions she had come to in the time you were apart.

Pairing: Leigh Shaw x Fem!Reader | Word count for this part: 6.500+ | Warnings: Smut | Author's note: I honestly don't know what else to write in the summary without giving too much away, so without further ado… P.S. No cliffhangers this time ;)

fic: if i bleed (you'll be the last to know) (11/?)

Part Summary: You listen, and her reasons make sense, but they don't ease the tightness gripping your heart. Knowing how well Leigh understands the control she holds over you leaves you feeling exposed, almost humiliated. It feels manipulative, whether she intended it or not.

Pairing: Leigh Shaw x Fem!Reader | Word count for this part: 6.300+ | Warnings: Angst | Author's note: Buckle up you guys.

Lasso of lust Natasha Ramnoff DRABBLES

content warning Fluff only!!

pairing Fem reader x Natasha Ramnoff

summary Natasha, a passionate detective, pursues a dangerous killer, despite jealousy of Bruce Banner. Despite gunpoint, they embrace Natasha, reaffirming their love and relationship after a gunshot.

word count 490

Natasha's fury blazed like a wildfire, raw and uncontained. You watched as she poured all her energy into the mission, following the trail of clues with unparalleled determination. A twinge of jealousy tugged at your heart as you remembered how Natasha had once been interested in Bruce Banner, even kissing him and wanting a relationship with him. It was a fear that always lingered in the back of your mind - that Natasha loved Bruce more than she loved you.

But you couldn't let those thoughts consume you. This was a matter of life and death, and you were determined to find the killer no matter what. As you arrived at the suspect's address, you couldn't help but notice Natasha's motorcycle carelessly parked on the curb, as if it were just an afterthought in her pursuit of justice.

You cautiously entered the building, gun drawn and senses on high alert. Suddenly, a loud crash erupted from the next room, making your heart skip a beat. You hurried towards the sound and found Natasha holding the suspect at gunpoint.

"Tash?" you called out, your voice trembling slightly. "Don't do this."

She didn't even turn to look at you, her focus solely on the killer in front of her.

"Y/n, you should go," Natasha's voice was cold and unwavering. But you couldn't leave her alone in this dangerous situation.

Stepping towards her, you placed a hand on her shoulder and felt her tense under your touch. She stopped walking, a small sign of progress.

"Tasha, I know you want to punish him, but this isn't how we do things. I know it used to be your job, but not anymore. Please," ignoring the warning bells in your head telling you not to do this, you embraced Natasha tightly, burying your face into her chest and closing your eyes tightly.

A gunshot suddenly rang out through the room, causing you to flinch. But when you pulled away slightly, you noticed that the killer was now immobilized in a net ejected from Natasha's wrist shooter. You looked up at her in surprise.

"You didn't kill him," you stated, both relieved and amazed by her restraint.

Natasha avoided your gaze, but she didn't loosen her grip on you. "I suppose it's because of you. I'm here with you now. There's nothing I wouldn't do to keep it that way."

A warm feeling spread through your chest as you smiled up at her. "You chose me."

Using the hand that wasn't holding onto you, Natasha gently brushed a strand of hair out of your face. "I will always choose you, Y/n." And then she kissed you, not like it was the first time, but like it was the millionth time - with all the love and passion in the world.

Your head was spinning as you once again realized how deeply you loved this woman and how incredibly lucky you were that she loved you back.

The Beaten and the Damned

Natasha Romanoff x Reader
  • Warnings: Nightmares | Choking
  • Natasha fears the worst; you offer the opposite | WC: 421

"A part of me will always be broken Y/N," Natasha whispered, her body in defense mode as she tried to hide the devastation racking through her. You froze at the sound of premature mourning leaving her, as if she thought this was the moment you'd finally leave her.

Take away the only safety she'd ever found; her heart, she held onto it somehow but she'd lose it with you.

She's mistaken, your throat burned at the thought, as if you could ever do such a thing. You shook your head and smiled away the thought, you tilted her red, snotty face up with a finger beneath her chin to make sure she hears you, "oh honey, that's okay," her auburn brows ticked and you gently wiped away the freshest tears.

"I choked you," she reminded you in disgust, her frame started to shake again so you scooted closer to pull her unusually frail body into yours. She resisted but you trapped her arms between your bodies and she melted into the pressure you applied, she shifted slightly and cried against your bare shoulder in broken strings that fractured your soul, intimately intertwined with hers.

"These cracks you speak of, they offer me the chance to love you harder my dear," you paused and reached out to wipe her face clean with aloe infused tissues. Then you pecked her bitten lips, ignoring the salty taste as a smile bloomed as you finished your thought aloud, whispered on her cheek, "all it is, is extra space to fill."

Natasha's barely beating heart stuttered in her chest as your happiness electrified her back to life. "I love you."

A humorless laugh left your lovers lips, she was in total disbelief of your never ending well of compassion. You watched her go to reach for you but then her hands retracted—eyes despondent as she caught sight of the oxidized red that etched the skin of her hands and arms. Her eyes traced over the bob in your throat, the one pained by the imprint of her hand on the muscle.

"Don't slip backwards Natasha," you begged even though your voice was hoarse, "I am okay, this is not the end of our love story—I trust you with all of me."

You kissed your teeth when her cold fingertips traced over the heated skin of your throat, tracing the outline her fingers left behind and she offered you a promise in her soft touch—she was here to stay. "I love you too."

Out For a Ride.

Warnings: Brief mention of a hypothetical accident, pretty much just fluff

Word count: 1.3k

“Oh, come on detka, you’ll be fine. I promise. I won't even go that fast.” Natahsa encouraged.

You stood there, frozen, with a motorbike helmet in your hands staring wide eyed at your girlfriend. You had been saying for a while you would love to go on a ride with her one day but now that the opportunity had arisen, you were suddenly taking back all of your words.

The Night Before

Anon Reqs:  Any chance we can get some nightly falling asleep cuddling with a Natasha x reader? Like reader has a mission in the morning, so Nat is extra clingy and reader has her in her arms, massaging her scalp?

I started this the moment this request hit my inbox 😬🥴 The way life happens and just…continues to happen…anyway thank you so much for the request anon. And sorry for my only consistency being how often I randomly go MIA

————————-

“Baby you’re half asleep,” Natasha noted with a smile, equal parts affectionate and bemused, as she entered the living room from the kitchen. The dishes put in the dishwasher and the leftovers stored away in the fridge for another night.

There was no point in denying her claim; suddenly realizing that keeping your eyes open had become harder within the passed half an hour than you remembered. There was something enchanting about a couch not inherently meant for sleep that really drew you towards slumber.

You hummed adjusting yourself so you could meet her lips as she leaned over.

You were trying your hardest to make the night last, but there was only so much you could do. Nights like these were your favorites. Without chaos, without responsibility. Just you and Natasha.

But it was inevitable. That time would pass.

Natasha : *very seriously* You need to stop doing weird things to cope with the stress. Going outside might help.

Y/N: I went to the park today.

Natasha : There you go! I hope you got something from that.

Y/N: *opening their coat* This duck.

I Feel Ashamed That I'm Still Healing

a/n: found this wip I was working on during one of my Black Widow rewatches. there's some angst and longing. please enjoy <3 sick reader while Natasha is back in Hungary.

---

Natasha let out a soft sigh, strumming her fingers along the steering wheel, the car had long been turned off. She wasn't sure how long though, all she knew is that she'd been just sitting... and thinking. Her mind couldn't be turned off, unlike the engine that was now cooling.

It was almost refreshing for her to be back in Hungary, even if it wasn't under ideal circumstances, or entirely of her own accord. But here she was.

Natasha gripped the steering wheel, letting her knuckles go white before releasing it, deciding she couldn't sit and think much longer. She was here and there was no turning back. All the choices she chose to make, and the ones that were made for her, lead her here.

She took a deep breath of the fresh mountain air, it was cool and crisp, it chilled her lungs as she held it for a minute before releasing it on a slow exhale.
