summary — Natasha, a passionate detective, pursues a dangerous killer, despite jealousy of Bruce Banner. Despite gunpoint, they embrace Natasha, reaffirming their love and relationship after a gunshot.
Natasha's fury blazed like a wildfire, raw and uncontained. You watched as she poured all her energy into the mission, following the trail of clues with unparalleled determination. A twinge of jealousy tugged at your heart as you remembered how Natasha had once been interested in Bruce Banner, even kissing him and wanting a relationship with him. It was a fear that always lingered in the back of your mind - that Natasha loved Bruce more than she loved you.
But you couldn't let those thoughts consume you. This was a matter of life and death, and you were determined to find the killer no matter what. As you arrived at the suspect's address, you couldn't help but notice Natasha's motorcycle carelessly parked on the curb, as if it were just an afterthought in her pursuit of justice.
You cautiously entered the building, gun drawn and senses on high alert. Suddenly, a loud crash erupted from the next room, making your heart skip a beat. You hurried towards the sound and found Natasha holding the suspect at gunpoint.
"Tash?" you called out, your voice trembling slightly. "Don't do this."
She didn't even turn to look at you, her focus solely on the killer in front of her.
"Y/n, you should go," Natasha's voice was cold and unwavering. But you couldn't leave her alone in this dangerous situation.
Stepping towards her, you placed a hand on her shoulder and felt her tense under your touch. She stopped walking, a small sign of progress.
"Tasha, I know you want to punish him, but this isn't how we do things. I know it used to be your job, but not anymore. Please," ignoring the warning bells in your head telling you not to do this, you embraced Natasha tightly, burying your face into her chest and closing your eyes tightly.
A gunshot suddenly rang out through the room, causing you to flinch. But when you pulled away slightly, you noticed that the killer was now immobilized in a net ejected from Natasha's wrist shooter. You looked up at her in surprise.
"You didn't kill him," you stated, both relieved and amazed by her restraint.
Natasha avoided your gaze, but she didn't loosen her grip on you. "I suppose it's because of you. I'm here with you now. There's nothing I wouldn't do to keep it that way."
A warm feeling spread through your chest as you smiled up at her. "You chose me."
Using the hand that wasn't holding onto you, Natasha gently brushed a strand of hair out of your face. "I will always choose you, Y/n." And then she kissed you, not like it was the first time, but like it was the millionth time - with all the love and passion in the world.
Your head was spinning as you once again realized how deeply you loved this woman and how incredibly lucky you were that she loved you back.
