one of my favourite things is seeing posts like this that are clearly a reference to some fandom or piece of media, but having no idea what it’s referencing, so i’m just reading it like. yeah that would be weird huh

ᴘᴀɪʀɪɴɢ: religious cole cassidy x male reader

ꜱᴜᴍᴍᴀʀʏ: Cole Cassidy knows himself a man of faith

ʀᴇ𝐐: no ~ ᴡᴏʀᴅ ᴄᴏᴜɴᴛ: 2.88k

ᴡᴀʀɴɪɴɢꜱ: 3rd person POV, religion, catholisism, murder, guns, hunting, internalized homophobia, implied sex (non-descriptive), use of the words "Satan" and "devil"

ᴍᴀʏʙ'ꜱ ɴᴏᴛᴇ: my only knowledge of religion is going to a religious school from Pre-K to 12.

Cole Cassidy was a man of faith. He recited the Lord's prayer in the mornings, said his grace before meals—he spoke His name into His night of sparse stars like a man persecuted on the cross, though in his life, he had always confessed to the Father at his local Church, bathed under the reds, greens and blues and yellows of the stained glass windows; he had atoned for everything he'd done, despite his motivation always being to carry out his duty for the Lord, as He intended.

if you told vin diesel fast and the furious you were gay he'd be like "Some people like driving stick…some people like driving automatic…what matters is you cross the finish line.." and then he'd rev up a dodge challenger and drive through a building and kill 16 people

he literally did in the fourth one when he's asked if he likes cars more than women

If you asked if he was cool with trans people, he'd probably say "sometimes, aftermarket parts are the only way to get the vehicle you really want. Everyone should have the right to hot rod."

leitmotifs never get old to me like holy shit dude there’s this melody that corresponds to this one guy and if you hear the melody it means the guy is there. holy shit. and sometimes it refers to ideas too not just guys. has anyone heard about this

Sometimes something fucked up happens to the guy and their melody gets fucked up too. Sometimes the thing that fucked them up also has its own melody and when the first melody gets fucked up the second melody gets mixed in

no fucking way dude. are you serious

every single day I think about how american black vultures are known for engaging in allopreening (preening between different species)

and they have a specific relationship with crested caracaras, in which the black vultures assist them by not only preening them after meals but also leading them to food in the first place— due to their superior sense of smell— while the caracaras assist the black vultures by acting as a warning signal in case of danger

and while this is more typical of black vultures, this is not common at all for any member of the falconidae family— it’s a special bond!

yet another post in favor of vultures everyone , hope you enjoy:) and I implore you to do some more research on these incredible birds !!

spellcasting isn't like academia it's like writing. spellcasting is about saying "you know what would be really fucked up?" and then making it happen anyway. because you can.

my spellcaster's license has been revoked by the board of magical ethics .

you know how sometimes you see a shape from a distance and hope it's a cat or other small pettable animal. but it turns out to be just a plastic bag or something. well that's sort of what just happened to me, except for some reason i decided it must be a gargoyle statue someone had decided to abandon on the side of the road. so i think i may have just had a truly unique human experience.

one thing the human emotional range is lacking is the predator animal ability to stare at people while holding the limp, bloody corpse of your prey in your mouth

i have dysphoria for this
