***NEW COMMISSION PIECE***

“Shunaga VS Frostfang.png”

Full Color ~ $40

I’ll say it again! MONSTER HUNTER NEEDS MORE SNAKES!

And this isn’t an original statement. @jurassicodogaron seems to agree with me! This new snake wyvern comes from them. Shunaga is its name, and wind pressure is its game. More on that in just a moment. Please tell me you like it as much as I loved drawing it. Your comments are always a joy to read!

Now, here’s more info:

Name: Shunaga

Nickname: Zephyr Snake Wyvern

Classification: Snake Wyvern

Location: Ancient Forest, Wildspire Waste, Coral Highlands, Rotten Vale, Elder’s Recess, Hoarfrost Reach

Element(s): N/A

Ailments: N/A

Weaknesses: Thunder, Dragon

Resistances: Water, Ice

Immunities: N/A

More Info: You may consider yourself lucky to find the magnificent Shunaga. The Zephyr Snake Wyvern is mostly secretive with its habits. All reported sightings of this monster describe it simply gliding from high places, traveling from locale to locale, and catching a meal every now and again. This implies a nomadic lifestyle. If it isn’t on the hunt for food, this Snake Wyvern seems not to care for other monsters around it. That said, it does find itself in many battles during its travels. Its easy to find trouble when traveling through land claimed by other monsters. The Shunaga comes prepared for battle in a very unusual way.

You may consider yourself unlucky to find yourself in a duel with a Shunaga. Thought to only be possessed by the likes of Kushala Daora, this monster has the ability to call upon the power of the wind. With a shiver of its feathers, the flow of air dances around this monster. It swings its fan-like tail to fling a blast of wind towards its enemies. The force of this gust is strong enough to bludgeon foes, sending creatures (like hunters) flying. It aims to disorient its foes with lithe, elegant maneuvers and strong, strategic gales before closing in for the final blow. This strategy proves effective, as some of the toughest monster you can find have no easy time with the Shunaga…

Gotta love designs like this, thank you again for a beautiful creation

***NEW COMMISSION PIECE***

“Raizera VS Rose.png.”

Full Color ~ $40

Now this one was a lot of fun to draw! This design comes from

. Thank you again for your support AND your patience!

This flying wyvern is named Raizera. The name comes from “Panthera” and “Raijin”. We took inspiration from panthers and pangolins. Pretty simple, right?

Rose Soraya also makes a guest visit here! Another special thanks to you @jurassicodogaron (learn more about Rose Soraya here). Here you can see both monsters engaging in a showdown of electric proportions.

The “pseudowyverns” have always had such cool and sleek designs; I hope I was able to keep up that tradition. Please let me know if you think it works!

Without further ado, here’s more info:

Name: Raizera

Nickname: “Charged Armor Wyvern

Classification: Flying Wyvern

Location: Coral Highlands

Element(s): Thunder

Ailments: Thunderblight, Bleed, Illusion*

Weaknesses: Water

Resistances: Thunder

Immunities: N/A

More Info: Few monsters have the bravery and battle prowess to hold their own against the revered Elder Dragons. Raizera, the Charged Armor Wyvern, sits comfortably among those few. Weapons and abilities are important, but Raizera boasts a tenacity rarely seen among others of its kind. Its a very territorial monster, claiming miles upon miles of land as its own. It spends most of the day patrolling this enormous roaming area. Any monster within an earshot (aside from other Raizera) are to be eaten or destroyed. Even Rose Soraya, the calm and quiet ruler on the peaks of the Coral Highlands, are not off limits. These two monsters quarrel often, as Elder Dragons rarely back down. Their skirmishes are grueling, long, and electrifying.

Tenacity aside, Raizera also has the weaponry to boot. Strong claws, serrated fangs, and masterful agility are always on display, but it has two hidden signature abilities. Firstly, it has sharp spines that retract from holes in its armored scales that conduct electricity when enraged. This electricity also charges the blade-like structure on the tip of its tail, creating its trademark “thunder sword”. Deadly as it is, this wyvern’s second ability just as much more interesting as it is rare. Shadowy clouds emitted from the orifices on its armor act as a smokescreen, obscuring its movements. It is vital not to breathe this smoke in or let it get into your eyes, as it can inflict you with what has been dubbed the “illusion”* status. Hunters with this status have reported their surroundings becoming blurry, followed by false apparitions following Raizera’s movements for a significant amount of time. Nullberries help, but those unskilled or unprepared are strongly urged to avoid its line of sight…

I appreciate doing this with you and making it happen
