maybe because I had very low expectations for the new CM, but I really enjoyed the first episode. there are a lot of changes in the characters and their jobs but I also feel like after 15 seasons of essentially the same team structure and dynamic, these changes make the new show feel fresher. they did promise more looks into the characters' personal lives, which there was a bit of in the first episode that I liked. and, yes, JJ and Emily are still as hot as ever.
True, and that's a problem procedurals are bound to encounter. It makes sense that since they're making a new series they have to change things... well if I can have a few jemily crumbs and some good murder solving/serial killer catching I can be happy. Mayhaps I'll check it out
