“Tenshi-chan, are you ready?” She’d been waiting outside the courthouse most of the day, her bag beside her and her sketchpad in her lap.  They were supposed to head on their trip as soon as she was done with work for the day, and Miyuki found she couldn’t wait.

“So... You are leaving L.A in a bout 4 months huh. I got a couple of weeks left til I have to go back.” That... was kind of sad to hear. She was going to have to leave before Miyuki does. Tenshi looked down a bit.

“I had assistants to help me with the manga.  Like drawing backgrounds and doing screentones, stuff like that.  So I needed room for them all somewhere.  Otherwise we’d probably have to sit on each other’s laps while we worked.”

“You have assistants?” It shouldn’t be a surprise to her but she went wide eyed at the other’s statement. “It gets that hard huh. Honestly I would offer my help but I don’t draw well... at all”

Miyuki giggle.  “This thing is almost big enough to think it’s a hot tub, huh?” She put the duck down, letting it float around.  “My apartment in Shibuya was big enough to use as a studio, but it was still pretty cramped.”

“It’s much more roomy that’s for sure. I like it.” Tenshi laughs a bit before continuing to speak. “At least you could use is it as a studio. It would suck if you couldn’t draw that well at your own home.”
